One thing that seems to puzzle me is that most TV on DVD buyers want plenty of extras and are very upset when they do not get them (i.e Green Acres and Barney Miller). I was just wondering why no one, in general, seems to care of the lack of bonus features on these sets. Every set at amazon has a pratically five star rating from everyone. Wouldn't M*A*S*H fans be much more satisfied with the quality sets that Image is producing for The Dick Van Dyke Show.

Well, bonus features are nice, but they're just that - bonus features. I'm just glad to have the episodes uncut on DVD with the option of watching without the laugh track.

Some Larry Gelbart/Alan Alda commentaries would be nice, but que sera sera.

I'm not a big fan of Bonus Features on DVDs. Sure, maybe a featurette with some interviews is okay, but I never cared for the directors commentaries that you played over an episode.

As AKA pointed out, having uncut episodes is what really makes me happy.

I've seen many bloopers of MASH already on videotapes. But you're right there really is no excuse for not putting extra features on the DVD's.
