Does anyone know anything about season two's coming out? So far, I haven't obtained any information on its possible release.

Yes please. Any information woud be greatly appreciated. True or false : ) I can't imagine how great the colours will be on DVD. And of course uncut and unedited. Can't wait. That naturally goes for season 3 too.

Season 2 DVD desperately needs commentaries by Bob Denver, Dawn Wells, and Russell Johnson.

Also commentaries by tina Louise (if she will), Sherwood Schwartz, and maybe, if we are lucky, any guest star that appeared in that episode (i.e. Zsa Zsa Gabor).

I agree that we need more special features and that commentaries would be interesting. As cool as it would be to get guest star commentaries, it might be kind of hard to get a large number of people to participate.
Also, you bring up Zsa Zsa Gabor - isn't she still in that coma from her car accident a few years back? I never heard anything more about that...

I'd love to see (or hear, rather) some commentaries, and better special features on this set, but keep in mind that it might push the price up a good bit.

Mentioned previously was something about the price. I must say that I, for one, am not concerned with the price a great deal. Remember that we will have these sets forever and that these DVD boxed sets will be the only source from which we will probably watch these episodes. Is it worth getting, say, four audio commentaries, bloopers and gag reels, original commercials and promotional spots, and various interviews for 10-15 dollars extra, than it would be for a bare-bone DVD set for $40 or so?

I for one would be more than happy with a bare boned DVD set. Just having these episodes on a quality format is more than enough for me. If bonus material include things like "the survivors guide", or whatever it was called, from the season 1 set, I could live without it.
