Anyone here ever heard of the show "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis"? I heard they might bring it back onto TV.

I used to watch Dobie Gillis when it was on Nick at Nite. It's a funny show.

Here are the words to the theme song.

Dobie, wants a gal who's dreamy,
Dobie, wants a gal who's creamy,
Dobie, wants a gal to call his own.
Is she blonde, is she tall, is she dark, is she small,
is she any kind of dreamboat at all?
No matter, he's hers and hers alone.

I taped a few epsisodes about 15 years ago... the ones with Tuesday Weld. That show premiered in 1959.

On the closing theme, a final line was added:

'Cause Dobie's gotta have a girl to call his own.

I used to watch this show once in a while when it aired on N@N. Haven't seen it in years though. :(

a lot of people have heard of it. Four seasons is somewhat of a long time to be on. To bad it is not on cable now so more people could hear of it.
