Saved By The BellCrap

First of all, Remember how Zach and Jessie used to talk about how they have been next door neighbors since they were babies? Where was Jessie during those middle school years?

Remember the drivers ed episode? You mean to tell me that this fancy school where all the rich kids go, cant even afford a car? They had to learn how to drive in a golf cart, INSIDE of a classroom.

Remember the prom where Zach had a major announcement? Mr. Belding said "Go ahead Zach, the whole school is listening. THERE WERE 10 PEOPLE GATHERED AROUND. That was the whole student body? WTF???

Ill think of more, Im sure you all will too.

lmao. i wondered that too.

Or when Slater had a wrestling meet they would hold the matches in the gymnasium which was about the size of a classroom.

Even more valid point, if Lisa, Zach, & Screech went to middle school together, does this mean that they all moved from Ill. where Bayside Junior High was to California. where Bayside High was? And Mr. Belding got promoted to high school & moved as well?

And how come Bayside Junior High had a hall monitor in that one guy but Bayside High didn't?

And how long did Zach & Lisa dated since they hooked up in one episode & that was it?

But the worst saved By the Bell moments...period. Saved By the Bell, the New Class. After the kids graduated & went to the College Years, Belding stayed behind with new kids for a couple of more seasons. And then they added Screech towards the end to try & save the show as it was faling...& it got even worse.

Although, I still wanna see a Reunion movie.

In the final season of the original cast in HS, didn't Kelly just disappear for many episodes, only to be back later like nothing ever happened? or was that somehow explained?

yeah, Kelly was gone, and they brought in that Torrie chick whom Zach and Slater fought over. I dont remember if they explained it.

Is it just me or was Kelly the "Trish Stratus" of SBTB? The chick that went from guy to guy...

I always liked how they used the same generic dance music for the duration of the show... like when they were at the club, or when they were at the maxxx... i kno peeps music tastes don't change over night, but come on... the same song for 4 years?!

also... the episode where screech was an alien rubs me the wrong way.

One of the best ones is where they had the schools GUYS v GIRLS american gladiator thing, where they fought over some guys inheritence. THAT was TV GOLD! heh. Too bad Tori was in it, and not Kelly or Jessie tho

LatinoMeat stole my thunder about the cheesey dance music.

What about their awesome band. I forget what they were called. "The Zack Attack" or something. They were introduced by Casey Casem. embarrassingly BAD!

Back to Saved by the Bell... Remember Tori Spelling before the implants? Kinda sad she saw Sammy as a P I M P .

They never did explain why Tori left tho, did they?

Or how about the Summer episodes at the Beach Club? I didn't like Stacy Kerosi, but didn't Slater meet a hottie that was supposed to "come to school at Bayside" for the next year? Why they introduce something like that and drop it... hmm.

her voice was grating to me, and i still remembered her as alyssa milano's friend from Who's The Boss?

Alyssa Milano tho... mmm... alyssa...

ahem. Anyways, she's grown on me with this King of Queens show... I never really watched it until it was on syndication recently, but she's actually pretty hot now.

Weird how that works.

Oh, and to keep it on topic... Belding losing the toupee in the punch bowl = CLASSIC

One of the big issues I had with Saved By The Bell was that many of their situations were set during the school day in the hallway and that dang bell rang for class only once every several episodes!

Mr Belding was the Big Bopper I believe... funny how the radio station was only there for that one episode. Also funny how everyone in the Bayside world automatcially listen'd to it, as if it were the only station in their city.

There were a LOT of classroom episodes, but no one really attended class. Kinda like my seinor year of high school... damn, memories.

The six of them had no time for class! They ran like every extracurricular activity in that bloody school! who has time for book learnin what with being captain of nearly every sport sans wrestling, head of the debate team, running the radio station, and fronting THE Bayside band Zack Attack? and that's just Zack Morris, the other five were just as busy speaking of Zack Attack, yeesh what a name.. and people claim HHH is an egotist

Wasn't Slater the team capt of the wrestling, football, AND basketball teams? Come to think of it, didn't they only have like 3 football players at any given time?

I'm suprised Slater wasn't the capt of the chess team as well...

My favorite Saved teacher was Ben Stein tho... funny guy.

u kno what's dumb? i have the following Zack Morris/Zacks dad exchange embedded in my mind:

*Zacks dad leaves Zacks room while they are talking about 'important issues' to take a phone call. He then gets another call as Zack is growing impatient, as finds out that it's infact Zack calling him*

Zack: Dad, is this the only way we can talk?

Weird, I kno, but stuck in my head for 10 years now!

that scene has been in the back of my head for so long, and I'll quote it when I can't get a hold of people, and then finally do get a hold of them... you can call me a dork, but it just won't leave, so i have no choice but to embrace it.

This is just too funny tho.

as an aside... you kno what i didn't like? the Saved By The Bell movies. No laugh tracks = Saved by the BellCrap.

But wait...wait...wait...newsflash: ZACH'S FATHER CHEATED ON HIS MOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!

In junior high, Zach's father got a crush on & dated his teacher aka Hailey Mills. Am I alone in remembering ANYTHING from junior high since nobody answered?

I love the giant cell phones they had. Heck, I still refer to those as Zach Morris phones! I wish someone would come out with one now, but with current tech, I would buy it in a heartbeat!

I, too, remember the Jr. High years. I dig how a number of the kids just disappeared and were replaced by new ones come high school. Like the hispanic boy Zach was friends with in Jr high, come high school, enter AC Slater. Or the girl with the big brown hair, gone but enter Kelly (good upgrade though).

By the way, congrats to Belding on his promotion!

Zack was getting ready for the big Basketball game when Mr Belding broke Zacks leg or something, after an inspirational speech. I believe Slater was the team captain for that episode...

That's the one that told us about Zack and Jessie watching ET when they were young... with the emmy winning "but back then, we were... together" :`(

The Jr High years, I try to push out of my memory... but it did have Nikki as a Tomboy and Zacks best friend with the curly hair. I do remember Zack showing up at Ms Bliss' house all the time... that's just not right.

That was what they called it when they were in Jr high, but changed it (includeing for the reruns) after they moved to High School.

Yeah! it used to air on the Disney Channel too... before NBC picked it up. I ALWAYS used to watch it on TBS, every afternoon... as for a time there would be a hour block on TBS, then a hour block on WGN, then a hour block on our local KTLA. ahhh, how I miss Saved by the Bell.

I thought it was stupid how Zack had 2 dads. During the middle school episodes, the guy who played his dad was the sargeant on 'CHiPs'. During the high school years, he was some rich guy who was married.

And I thought it was really coincidental how Lisa and Screech moved with Zack from IN. What was that all about?
