Ive been here for like.. 3 days so far and we're not getting the direct tv til Saturday *dies*, so we're relying on LOCAL stations. *dies again* Well, Ive managed to find a few- CBS, NBC, ABC, UPN, PBS, but theres one that I have been searching high and low for.. FOX. I went to Fox.com and it showed Portland ME has Fox 23, but that doesnt necessarily mean thats the same station for us even though its the same provider, does it? Ive done tons of searches to see what station Fox is on to see if I can get a picture. Fox is considered 'local' right? Anyone know a site where I can get a list of tv stations for your town?

Not necesarily. In some places, like bigger cities, FOX is local. But in a lot of rural areas it isn't. If you've already channel surfed and couldn't find it, it probably means it's not a local channel.

Try this. Go to www.zap2it.com, put in your zip code and cable service, and it'll give you your channel line-up.

Well, I did another search, thanks to Chris , and it says its channel 23. Hopefully I can get it with these damn rabbit ears.:)

That's really the only reason we don't have satellite here. We don't live in a TV Market where you can get all the local channels without a stupid antenna. I don't like our cable company, it goes out a lot for no reason.

But, if we ever move to an area where you can get local channels without an antenna, I will switch in a heartbeat.
