Did anyone else find it annoying when Claire wouldn't let Cliff eat a sandwich?

As a greedy pig, Ifelt it very annoying. But he was a married man with children and a doctor so I can understand where she's coming from. Poor guy! :( :)

Yeah, it is annoying when she wouldn't let him have a sandwich. As Vanessa said yeterday:

Vanessa: "Well, I think Dad should be allowed to eat whatever he wants."

Sondra: "Really?"

Vanessa: "Yes, I say if you're gonna go, go happy!"

Claire got on my nerves, period. When Cliff wanted to eat a simple sandwich and she had to climb his butt about it, that was sad. Like you said, "Let the man have a sandwich!" :lol:

SALT!! Lunch meat has LOTS of salt in it, and salt is BAD for some people, especially older people and people with some kind of medical issues. :eek:

The white bread and soda isn't good for the body though, and these certainly weren't small sandwiches. I looked at it as more of an ongoing joke thoughout the series. And lets remember, Cliff has been pretty mean in the food category as well. I know you guys recall that episode where Clair had to fit into a dress for some sort of banquet, and while she was on her diet to fit into the dress, Cliff makes her favorite Mexican foods to taunt her. It was hilarious, Cliff was enjoying the whole thing. He even caught her trying to sneak some food that night. That's was excellent revenge.

Remember Clair going off the deep end in that same scene and hissing "Shut
Up!" at Cliff even when he was upstairs and out of the room.
