Hi everybody! :)

You're so lucky to be able to watch the brandnew episode of the Dick van Dyke-Show on Tuesday! Do you think it'll be released on VHS or DVD, sometime?

I have just ordered the first season of the show at amazon and although it hasn't been shipped yet and I have just seen some extracts of it in the Internet, I'm already a downright fan of the show. Actually I love every show or movie that has Dick van Dyke in it. :D

Since I live in Germany, I'll have to wait for it to be released on DVD to see the new episode. :(

So, do you think it will be released? I really hope so...

Bye!

Alexi

From wha I have heard, there has been talk about having it released on DVD and VHS, but nothing is certain yet. It probably depends on how sucessful it was when it aired last night.

Hi algebra74, thanks for answering me.
I hope the show was successful, although it was sort of disappointing, as I read in other threads. I'd like to see the episode anyway. :)

I'm with you. Although I always love to see the cast back together again, I am against reunion special for that same reason: they never recreate the magic of the original show. One should not try to replay history, as one never can. I do, however, greatly appreciate the efforts and did enjoy seeing the cast again.

I, too, would LOVE to see this on DVD. This would have made a terrific bonus for the fifth season set, but it has been previously said that it was produced too late for the set. Hopefully, we will see it anyway.

I don't see why they WOULDN'T release this special on DVD... if the "Anna Nicole" show makes it to DVD, then obviously anything can...

There is definitely a percentage of people out there who will buy this reunion show on DVD...

I'd guess that the folks who were most critical of the reunion show's "critics" would probably buy it...and being only a 60 minute show, the DVD producer wouldn't dare try to gouge people on the price of a one-episode DVD...

.... or would they? Hmmmmm....

Yeah, I'm guessing the reunion show'll be out on DVD eventually.
