Does anyone have any information on Christopher Chichester? He may be a suspect in the murder of a young married couple in San Marino, California in 1985. The married couple lived with the husband's mother until they both were offered government positions on the East coast. The couple were never seen after leaving California. In 1994 human remains were recovered from a shallow grave near the couple's residence in California. It was later identified as the husband's remains. His name was John Sohos. The spelling of his family name may be inaccurate.

Christopher Chichester was a pseudonym for Christian Gerhard Streider a German national who was born in 1961.

I remember that case vaguely. Did his wife have red hair by any chance?

I have always wondered if the mother-in-law's phone records could yeild any information. It seemed, from Unsolved Mysteries report on the case, that she had been in contact with Chichester.

I don't mean to make matters more confusing for you but Chichester's photo reminded me of this missing person:

good luck and please keep us informed of how the case is going, there are a lot of people on this board interested in updates.

To scotterguy911:

I would like to ask a question. Where did you obtain the correct spelling of the Sohus family name and the birth name of Christopher Chichester? I have consulted digital databases and have found no sources on this particular case.
