Last night, Saturday Night Live did some Friends-related sketches.
For the opening, they had George W. Bush (Will Forte) in the Ross role and Donald Rumsfeld (Darrell Hammond) in the Rachel role. Rumsfeld tells the president he's resigning over the Iraq war scandal and that he's going to the NATO conference...in Paris.
Rumsfeld leaves and Condoleeza Rice (Maya Rudolph) tells him he has to "get over Rumsfeld." Bush cries "No, I don't want to get over him!" Condy then offers to drive him to the airport. You can pretty much figure where it goes from there...everything down to the phone message and an emotional reunion with a kiss. Yecch!
There was a sketch with guest host Snoop Dogg, who's having one of his parties with his homies, but he's depressed because he won't know what to do with his Thursday nights now that Friends is over. At the end, he hands his two pals umbrellas and the three are seen frolicking outside late at night in a waterfall like in the theme song sequence for the real show.
On Weekend Update, they reported a New York couple was arrested for child neglect, leaving their two-year-old daughter unattended for four days while they resolved their problems in a coffee shop. The picture of the couple was Ross and Rachel.
The Bush scene was the funniest, even though it was kind of gross to see two men kissing! But very silly!
