hey,can someone asnwer me question. I know that FRIENDS has came out with seperate VHS's like Friends-the complete season one,two three..but my question is :how many have they come otu with? What season are they up to????I thought they were up to the seventh season??Any also, do they sell the 5th/6th/7th etc..on VHS??

You're better off with DVDs.

Better quality, and special features.
Not to mention it takes up much less space and just plain looks nicer.

very true. The way the Friends seasons are packaged. 1 season on DVD (24 episodes on average) takes about as much shelf space as 1 VHS tape.

speaking of that.... Im going to pick up Seasons 1 and 2 tonight.

season 1 is great. season 2's alright, but as a whole, isn't as consistant as seasons 1, 4, 5 and 6. But it's still got some great episodes.

Season 1 was a must, but I knew I had to get another season to take advantage of the $10 off at Best Buy.... so I just went with continuity (is that a word?!)

yep, season 2 is best to get as a second season (I like to get DVD's in order). You're well-off with any seasons between 1-6, if you bought season 7 before the other 6, you'd go back to disliking the show, because that season was awful.

Actually, the episode voted #1 of Friends when they had their "fans pick the 6 best episodes" is from season 2, The One With The Prom Video.

Ill probably end up buying them all for completeness sake.
But I already know that Ill like the earlier seasons MUCH more.
