View Full Version : Super Fly TVFactFan 05-08-2004, 08:34 AM I never saw anything in reference to this character but it was mentioned once on Sanford and Son and Fred even wore a Superfly outfit. Superfly was also mentioned on the Jeffersons by George but I don't think it was ever mentioned on Good Times. I believe it's called "Libra rising over Lamont" or something. This is another reference to Superfly. When asked why she didn't recognize his last name of Sanford when they first met, the woman said "well, he didn't say is name was Lamont Sanford", to which Fred replied "who'd he say he was, Superfly?". The name Lamont had given her was his standard alias "J. Rue Perot".
