I really liked the shopping mall in Massachusetts "South Shore Plaza", an old 1950s mall renovated to be a larger two story plaza. What is your favorite? Hoping to go to Mall of America sometime.

Brent88 05-07-2004, 10:59 PM I've only been to local malls, LOL My favorite is where I used to live, great new mall(well, it's actually old, but a large part was added on a few years back). There's not a mall in this town specifically but there are two within 25 miles of here in two different towns. Neither one are too great, but they are OK. I don't like to shop anyway, if I go to the mall, I know what I want ahead of time. Dutabi84 05-07-2004, 11:00 PM MOA TheHappyBurgerMeister 05-07-2004, 11:01 PM Mayfair is the coolest mall by me because it has a movie theatre and LOTS of stores, but now lots of people from the inner city are coming there and lots of crime is starting to happen. All the other malls are old and ghetto. Then again, I hardly go to the mall. MandieR1980 05-07-2004, 11:05 PM I mainly go to the Silver City Galleria in Taunton MA because well I live in Taunton LOL but I've gone to The Emerald Square Mall a couple times and it's awesome and 3 floors but it's only really good when you have alot of money on you. PZelda 05-07-2004, 11:08 PM I LOOOOOVE LOOOOOOVE the Mall of America! I've been there at least 20-30 times, growing up. The last time I went there was last month, and I went 3x that weekend. :D I LOVE shopping so I love the MOA...but speaking locally, I LOVE the mall that's just down the street from me- it has 100 stores and is all one story. It's been mentioned that a Hot Topic will open there by the end of this year, so I can't wait!!!! :D Hollow 05-07-2004, 11:11 PM i <3 the fiesta mall in phoenix. i refuse to go to any mall without a hot topic. or claires, i guess. long live shopping. and long live hot topic. *Pleasant Tomorrow* 05-07-2004, 11:21 PM Carosaul (sp?) mall. Now I have a Galleria Mall....but I liked the Cambridgeside one better. One quick trip on the Number 9, 10 or 11 bus from Southie to Broadway Station, and then the subway to Kendall Station on the Red Line...hop the shuttle bus and there I was in shopping heaven.... """sigh""" sara 05-07-2004, 11:51 PM My favorite is Rivertown Crossings just 1 mile from my house:D Brian 05-07-2004, 11:56 PM I like Westfield Shopping Town in North County and Horton Plaza here in SD. Whooptie-doo. My favorite is probably Washington Square in Beaverton, OR. Not like any of you have heard of it (unless you live around here), but it's neat. dawsongirl 05-08-2004, 02:49 AM This outlet mall south of Minneapolis...I can't think of the damn town's name...crap. :o Mall of America That huge outlet mall in Olathe, KS Oak Park Mall, Overland Park, KS Tanger Outlet, Williamsburg, IA I LOVE Outlet shopping. :D Dutabi84 05-08-2004, 02:51 AM Originally posted by dawsongirl This outlet mall south of Minneapolis...I can't think of the damn town's name...crap. :o Mall of America That huge outlet mall in Olathe, KS Oak Park Mall, Overland Park, KS Tanger Outlet, Williamsburg, IA I LOVE Outlet shopping. :D There is a Tanger Outlet mall just NORTH of Minneapolis..where was that again..somewhere between Hinckley and Forrest Lake. dawsongirl 05-08-2004, 03:09 AM Originally posted by Dutabi84 There is a Tanger Outlet mall just NORTH of Minneapolis..where was that again..somewhere between Hinckley and Forrest Lake. My aunt lives there! Whenever I go down to visit her, we eat at that mall, and I've been going there all of my years on earth. Kristina 05-08-2004, 07:47 AM I went to a really neat mall in Los Angeles a few years ago, well actually about 6 or 7 years ago. It was about 15 minutes away from Disneyland, but I don't remember the name of it. My memories are very vague anyway, though I remember liking it. But as for local malls I'd say the Sacramento Mall and Roseville Galleria are the best. Sunrise is GHETTO. Titania 05-08-2004, 02:59 PM King of Prussia- biggest on the east coast, more actual shopping square footage than Mall of America (no roller coasters or the like...) And only 15 minutes away. Mijada 05-08-2004, 03:09 PM Somerset Mall in Troy, MI Moonlight Lady 05-08-2004, 03:22 PM Berkshire Mall in Lanesboro, MA and Colonie Center. PZelda 05-08-2004, 03:26 PM I went to Harrod's when I visited London in March...OMG, you ain't seen expensive until you've been there. I saw a wallet there for £77 (almost $140 in US money). Now THAT was expensive. Harrod's is a VERY VERY posh shopping mall... FamilyTiesGOP 05-08-2004, 05:58 PM I'm lucky because I can count 6 malls at my disposal in my area. In fact, my locale was the only area to get not one but two new malls last fall. I don't go but to one or two on a regular basis, but it is nice having them all. I can go to all the regulars like JCPenney, Sears, Hecht's, and Dillards, and also stores like Saks and Nordstroms. There is a really nice Sharper Image store that opened last fall. David 05-08-2004, 06:30 PM That Millenium Mall in Orlando Dude111 12-24-2024, 07:18 AM Theres a mall near me that has a health food store in it (Like whole foods) and in the mall itself there is an arcade room..
