now that the series is finished, I'd like to try a weekly poll (similar to how AKA does Beatles albums on the Music board) asking what everyone thought the best episodes of each season was.

So now, we start with season 1, 1994-1995.

The first season is commonly regarded as one of the best. Everything was very fresh here, and while the characters hadn't totally been established yet, it was great.

23 options though there were 24 episodes (episode 16-17, The One With Two Parts count as one)

I voted for the one with the fake Monica. It's possibly in my top 5 favourite Friends episodes.

I voted for the Blackout episode. To me, this is when Friends truly established itself.

The One with All the Poker "Your fly's open, Geller!" I love that line!

However, I have to say season one is not my favorite. I like the more "comfort food" episodes (season 6-10).

The One With All The Poker is my favorite, the One Where Rachel finds out is a close second. The Blackout episode is another great and classic.

This is making me wish I had the money to go out and buy the DVD's and watch them. I have them all on tape but a DVD is so much more convenient.

"The One With The Thumb" is my favorite of the season.

I voted for TOW the Poker because its really funny to see Ross and Rachel fighting. Throught this season I really liked Ross' Personality
