My most common mistake is leaving the thing on my chest or something when I'm laying down watching TV and then getting up without taking it off, it falls into the floor and the batteries come out. :cuss:

My family calls them remotes. We have too many. :lol:

We have 4 TV's in this house. All with cable, yes I said 4. There's a 27" TV in the living room, a 27" in my room with picture-in-picture, and a 19" in my sister and parent's bedroom. Plus 1 VCR and 2 VCR/DVD combos.

We have 4 TVs with a satellite. :p You and me have the same kinds of tvs and same number of DVDs. But we don't have combos. Our two VCRs are seperate.

In all our other homes we had 5 tvs with cable. We're gonna get a 5th one again with a satallite, but first we are going to change to Directv.

I call them "the controls." I seem to lose them a lot too. I don't get the big joke about guys and remotes (Oops, I'm calling it a remote). I guess it is something they tend to do, but I'm a girl and I have to have control of them. And I am always channel surfing. :roller:
