You think Cartoon Network will show the new ones?

Not sure if this is such a good thing. If fans see that the show is playing at an earlier timeslot on TBS than on Cartoon Network, it could wind up taking away viewers and ratings from Adult Swim. I'm pretty sure Family Guy is Adult Swim's highest rated show, so this might just harm the block.

Well, if it takes viewers away from Adult Swim, I'm sure they'll do something about it. I don't think a Turner network would want to hurt another Turner network.

I could understand TBS showing repeats in the afternoon, since people are usually at work or school so it wouldn't really affect Adult Swim.

But moving the repeats to a primetime spot...? It seems like TBS is trying to take advantage of Family Guy's success on Adult Swim to help themselves. Plus there's some rumors that Turner has something against Adult Swim, so if the rumors are true he won't care if TBS manages to grab the block's audience.

I don't think Ted Turner has power over the Turner networks anymore. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

it starts July 5th 2005. That is sad that they are making it a summer series, i hope they dont put it in the backseat again. Fox is the worst about putting things in the back seat then being upset when they fail. Family Guy was almost never advertised and changed slots constantly.

Also, i do not know whether new episodes will be on Fox or Adult Swim.

They're going to make new episodes of Family Guy on TBS, I read in an article, I forgot it though.
