I like "Frasier."

I've only seen the first disc, but I'm interested in watching the rest. My favorite episode so far is "I Hate Frasier Crane."

For those who didn't know, I had never seen the show before. Kind of ironic now that the show is ending, and I'm just now watching season 1.

"Frasier" is not in my top ten list. But I still think it's a well made and funny series.

Later I'll give thoughts on all of the season 1 episodes.

001 - The Good Son

If it weren't for the fact that Niles and Daphne didn't meet in this episode, it would be a perfect 10. A superb pilot, and a great episode overall.

002 - Space Quest
8/10
At its core -- its just an extension of the pilot. But very funny.

003 - Dinner at Eight
9/10
The show's first truly GREAT episode. The Niles and Frasier relationship really shines, as does their relationship with Martin.

004 - I Hate Frasier Crane

One of the season's best.

005 - Here's Looking at You
Aunt Petrice is a classic character, too bad she only makes one appearance.

006 - The Crucible

Not one of my favorites, but I love the last scene.

007 - Call Me Irresponsible

One of my favorites. The scenes at the pool hall are great, as is the poker game.

As the biggest male frith.... do you honestly think Id rate it any lower??
This is my 2nd favorite Lilith episode, #1 being when she sleeps with Niles.

017 - A Midwinter Night's Dream

Possible the greatest episode centering on Niles' obsession with Daphne.

Brilliant writing. Seems like an episode of Seinfeld more than Frasier.... but it goes to show that the characters and actors who play them have perfect chemistry.
