Ive said numerous times before that I dont like Friends, and I have coined the phrase "friends dont let friends watch friends" -- but that's all changed.
Somehow, someway -- Ive become interested in this show.
Something about it suddenly clicked, and I will watch the finale tonight -- but not the clip show -- this show is good, but I wouldnt miss "Survivor" for it. (Which is probably the main reason I never liked the show (until now).... and the fact that it gets so much attention and Frasier doesnt)

And think about it.... NO show, no matter how much you hate it -- is as boring as watching paint dry.
Unless its digustingly gross -- dry away.

If I don't get the Three's Company Season 2 DVD today, I might check it out. I really don't hate this show as much as I thought. I still think it's overrated, but the real problem I have with this show is that it's too light. Everyone is too nice.

Unless its Survivor or The Amazing Race.... yes, watching paint dry IS better.

Some reality shows are actually pretty good -- like the two I mentioned, but some are just trash.
Survivor, and especially The Amazing Race are more like games or sports than reality shows.
One thing I cant stand is dating shows.... :barf:

I'll watch it. I used to be a big fan, but I stopped watching it after the show jumped the shark around season 7 or 8.

Rachel has had some moments where she was downright mean, especially when it came to Ross.... but I agree with you for the most part.

That was my other option too -- I was torn between the Friends finale, and a guaranteed laugh -- Three's Company - Season 2

But after VERY recently becoming a minor fan, Im watching Friends instead.
Because the beauty of the DVD is -- I can watch it whenever I want.

I will NOT be watching the Friends finale. I haven't ever watched one complete episode and I don't plan to start now. I'd rather watch a blank screen (or paint dry since it is the option)...

I dunno if you follow the cast of Friends much, but one of the girls used to be Alex's girlfriend on Family Ties.

Yep :D.

While I agree that the show has gone downhill, it's still one of those "can't miss" finales. Besides, I've watched my DVDs all morning :p.

I agree that the show went downhill, but that the end is still can't miss.

Even if you hate the show, you have to admit it's nice to see a REAL TV SERIES getting the attention, as opposed to fad reality crap like American Idol and Apprentice (since reality shows always steal the attention away from actual scripted television series). Even if you like those shows, you have to admit, Friends has been big for 10 years... 10 years ago, John Stevens was like 6 years old and the other AI contestants were in grade school. Friends has EARNED it. It has proven a successful life in reruns and on DVD... can any of the reality series claim that?

I completely agree....
any show that goes out with a bang, I almost feel a need to watch the finale.
Whether Im a fan or not. (unless its a show I think is complete trash that never held my interest in the slightest bit)

I never cared for the show but I do want to see how it ends. I'll tape it and watch it later. I can't miss CSI.

I know, but I still don't care for the Friends. I never got into it, and I won't get into it just for the last episode.

Those 6 people made TV History. Not the cast of Friends....The 6 people watching the Finale on TV Land.

They made me laugh When They told me to change the channel And watch Friends, They made me cry when it ended, They Had me on the edge of my seat wondering who would get the Popcorn bowl next.

I watched it, and I must say it was great, and somethings were definitely worth the wait. It was better than I thought it would be.

I did, but maybe its because Im not a diehard fan....
I was very dissapointed.

The only scenes that were any good IMO were Joey and Chandler.
Especially killing the foosball table.

 The Ross and Rachel stuff was def. worth the wait(but if you're not a fan of them as a couple, then I guess it would be disappointing :( )

I know, after 10 years, I think they would've never been able to live down the fan wrath had it DIDN'T end with Ross and Rachel back together.
