They're really stubborn, and don't care about their viewers at all. (at least that is what I think) I mean, 3 episodes of Family Ties in one day! That is just ..urrgh! I mean, don't get me wrong, I LOVE that show, but how about a slot for FOL , 4:30 am was even better than this, and what about the weekends?!?!?

But, I Think Viacom Might Still Have the Rights to FOL After NickatNite's Contract Runs Out. Considering USA is half owned by Viacom, Nick is the only channel allowed to show it from the Viacom Stations Unless It Gives Permission (Like a Fandamonium on TV Land), so I wouldn't be surprised if it poped up on USA or TNN in around 2003

You mean we have to wait that long to see FOL again because I know NAN won't bring FOL back on because there totally ******** because they can't see that FOL gives them the best ratings adn viewers, but that's just to long to go with out FOL.

But actually FOL did the exact same thing to other shows I bet. FOL used to have 3 eps a day and it probably pushed away other shows.

It Did. It Pushed "Gilligan's Island" and "The Beverly Hillbillies" back, and when it aired at 10:00 PM, it took "Three's Company"'s spot 'cause it was org. supposed to air at that time.

N@N just lost a viewer, well, at least until they show FOL again!

Everyone is a little bit psycho when it comes to this topic....don't get me wrong, I love FOL, but calling N@N ******** isn't going to solve anything.

I don't know everything about how a TV network is run, but I will say this: it is not about what N@N thinks ("NAN hates FOL) it is not about what we think ("isn't it supposed to be about we think?") it is about the almighty dollar.

The FOL marathon may have grabbed them some of their highest ratings ever, but how many of those people who watched the marathon hung on and watched it regularly after that? I know everyone here did, but I wager that there is a huge population out there that watched the marathon, and that was good enough for them. We have no idea how the ratings were for FOL post-marathon.

If the ratings were really through the roof, I'm sure they would air it, there would be no reason not too, unless they somehow lost the rights to it. As for them airing Family Ties 3 times a day, well it you're a Family Ties fan I would recommend watching it now as much as you can, because I bet N@N is going to end up treating it the same way they did FOL. They air too much of it in the beginning, overkill it, and then loose viewers because of it.
