I honestly believed that Zack was never the Big Man On Campus until after he started dating Kelly Kapowski. Before, he was kind of the underdog, who was overshadowed by the athletic ability of Slater. He never dated and hung out with Screech because he was one of the few friends that he had. However, through his persistance he was finally able to get his dream girl. And after he and Kelly broke up, girls were lined up for him because if Kelly wanted him, then he must have been something great. What does everyone think about my analysis?

I can kind of agree with that. He wasn't really the big man until he and Kelly hooked up and then broke up. But it could have been because he didn't even bother to give anyone else a chance because he was so in love Kelly. Also it could have been because during those times Zack was still going through puberty and it was ironic that when he finally got Kelly, he started getting out of the puberty stage and started to mature. But even though Slater was bigger and the athlete he wasn't really that much of a ladies man either. Actually I think Zack had more girlfriends than Slater ever had throughout the series, also that could be because he mostly was with Jessie.

After Kelly, I didn't mind that Zack dated other girls every once and a while, but what I didn't like was the fact that they felt compelled to hook him up with every girl that came on the show. And what bothered me and the reason I don't like the beach episodes was because Zack dated Stacey for like two episodes and by the third they were all of a sudden in love with each other and it didn't help that they didn't have any romantic chemistry together, imo.

Also I thought Zack was more persistent with his schemes when he was chasing Kelly and foiling Slater. When he became Zack the ladies man, he still had some good schemes but it just wasn't the same it felt like something was missing. His schemes weren't as fun like they were in the earlier seasons until the college years when he started chasing Kelly again imo. I guess the keyword in there is Kelly.

Yeah, Zack's schemes weren't nearly as good (but I still loved them). Kelly is what makes him the Zack we know. :D

what I didn't like was the fact that they felt compelled to hook him up with every girl that came on the show. Yeah that annoyed the hell out of me too. Even Tori, who hated Zack at first ended up dating him. Why couldn't they have just been friends instead of an item? But saying that I don't really count the Tori episodes as being in contiunity with the rest of the show so that probably doesn't matter too much.

Who didn't Zack date besides Jessie and Violet and the nerd girl the nerds thought was hot? He dated Kelly, Lisa, Slaters old Girlfriend, Slaters Sister, Female Wrestler, homeless girl girl he met at Lisa's birthday party, Tori, And so on.

I also didn't like the fact they paired him up with almost every girl on the show.

On a side note there was a blopper, in the mall when they were all there for concert tickets, where screech had a doll it wet allover him. Zack and Sreech go to restroom, Homeless guy tells Screech to use blower to dry himself off. When they leave restroom he is still wet, when he runs into Monney's Men's clothing store to tell Zack something he is completely dry.
