I thought he had given up acting for good, but he guest-starred on Scrubs for two episodes this season. He did a very fine job of it too, playing a doctor with OCD. I think he's a great actor. I wish he could do more stuff. I think it's a shame he has Parkinson's. He always seems like such a nice person. I loved watching Family Ties when I was younger. I still watch it sometimes.

I also can't believe that's Steven Keaton playing Dr. Carter's father on ER. He looks so different, so much older.

He is doing better I think. I heard several weeks ago that he is on a different treatment now that has lessened his symptoms. You can go to his parkison's foundation website for more. I think it is michaeljfox.org or something like that.

He's been doing better since about January this year, because he's switched medicines.
