Was the ape Gladys (seen in the beauty contest ep) supposedly the same ape in the ep where Skipper disappears and Gilligan takes over as being the castaways's leader (and falls off a cliff)?

Well,I guess Gilligan would call it by her name if it was
Gladys.But,I think it's the same gorilla who kidnapped
Mrs.Howell and the one with the grenades too.
