View Full Version : Questions about a specific scary case!!
mercy1825 05-04-2004, 03:42 PM I recall a WANTED case that is relatively old. The details I remember are vague. An elderly couple was sleeping at a rest stop in their mobile camper. A man knocked on the door in the middle of the night saying he was the police and their camper was parked illegally. When the answered the door, He had two rifles in his hands and told the couple he was going to rob them and then kill them. After he robbed them, he murdered the wife, and then a car pulled up. He walked out of the camper and murdered the driver of this car. During that time the elderly gentleman victim, hid underneath the RV and thus was spared. I remeber there was a sketch of the suspect, long blonde hair. I think the living victims name was Gordon McAllister. He sounded so sad saying that he wishes the suspect would've killed him too because he misses his wife soo much. Please, anyone that remembers this case, knows about any new information, or his any opinion at all about it, please post a message.
God Bless All!
ddelta 05-06-2004, 01:51 PM See the post above - they suspect that guy was the killer. That was one of the creepiest UM cases ever. i could not sleep every time i saw that case on UM....
I think Gordan passed away in the 90's.
ddelta 05-06-2004, 01:51 PM Blind River Killer is the one I meant
maniaguy6 05-06-2004, 07:54 PM Gord McAllister was alive as of 1999, when he was interviewed. He remarried a few years after the murder. But I'm not sure if he is still living.

Yes, that IS a scary case. I'd also be heartbroken and filled with grief if my spouse's life were to be taken, leaving me all alone and without him.
UMfan77 05-11-2004, 04:18 PM I have seen just about every single story from UM and have never heard of or seen this one. Since Lifetime is taking UM off the air, looks like I won't ever see it. It sounds really creepy though.
mastamatt 05-20-2005, 06:43 PM Yes, again an old thread, but is this case on the bizarre murders dvd?

It's not on the list, so that means no. :(
Beetlejuice69 06-20-2005, 12:52 PM The SOB who killed those people should be shoved feet first into a plastic chipper. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y77/BigTMan/explotar2jr.gif

agcatmike 06-21-2005, 04:07 PM I remember that episode! I was probably 10 or 11 years old when it first aired. It scared me so bad that I couldnt sleep at night. It still gives me chills to this day thinking about it. It was a completely cold-hearted thing to do. I remember the sketch too. It was extremely creepy. If anybody knows where I could find that episode so that I could watch it, that would be much appreciated. I need to confront this fear, I guess.
PrettyinPink55 06-22-2005, 11:38 AM Oh my gosh, that case still freaks me out too this day!!! Especially the sketches and the actor who played the killer!
UMfan77 06-22-2005, 12:53 PM Lifetime is taking UM off the air? I didn't know that, that's too bad.
Goofyman 06-22-2005, 01:12 PM That was from 2004, when I think UM was being taken off, but they decided not to at the last minute. I believe that's what happened.
Also, does anyone remember the "Black Widow" case? I know that they think (or know, maybe they exhumed her grave and found nothing) that she faked her own death and is living with relatives, but have there been any updates?
