I am kind of mad right now because N@N is not going to air FOL. but i will be nice. i just cant beleave that N@N is not going to air FOL. the show did really well. i hope that every one will watch the reunion movie so N@N might start airing it again. i can watch the tapes that i got but still i wish they would air the show. well me complaining about it wont get N@N to air the show. but i still think it sucks!

I don't think N@N has FOL anymore. Because I know FOL has a Halloween episode, and N@N has a Halloween special on Sun Oct 21, and there is no FOL!

I calculated that Nick at Nite showed FOL for approximatley 8 months. That must be some kind of record for them.

They are also slowly pushing Diff'rent Strokes off nick at nite, when it has only been on for 8 months or so..... nick at nite needs to ship all in the family to tv land

Yeah they're giving Cheers a push over at Slick Nick for the Marks. Its a decent show, but it seems bland right now to me. Maybe its the laugh track or the comedy timing (its more subtle), although I believe Cheers lasted so long because of the name value. Woody Harrelson, Ted Danson, Frasier (Kelsey Grammar), Kirstey Alley, Rhea Perlman, Shelly Long.

Its like a story amongst the characters.
I really consider it more of a story show than a sitcom; if you don't follow the show regular it doesn't stick with you whereas the Brady Bunch and the Diff'rent Strokes, etc does, at least to me anyhow.
There lies the reason N@N is pushing it. I don't know; maybe it'll be OK, but it doesn't appeal to kiddies and teens. Adults that can follow it will watch, but how many folk do in 2001; they're watching ER or whatever.

Maybe TNN will show FOL someone mentioned it awhile back and they show CHiPS and Mimie Vice and Wonder Years so maybe they would?

Yeah, I agree that the eps. with Mrs. Garret were good, but once she left, the show lost some of it's touch when Adelaide came on.. But I think season 3 of DS was the best.. Nick At Nite needs to get rid of the following shows to put DS, and FOL back on:
All in the Family(ship to tv land)
I love lucy(i don't know if nick still has it, but if they do, send that to tv land too)
The Jeffersons(already a regular on tv land, so send it there)
Laverne and Shirley(hated the show so get rid of it)

I do believe that Nick showed both of these shows for 8 months each, before they suddenly both became dead on the network..FOL is gone and DS will be on only once a week after this week.. If Nick can't show these, they should just sell them to another network

i think N@N might change there mind after the reunion movie if alot of people watch it. and
after the Cheers marathon gets over with. i could be wrong. i doubt that N@N will put FOL on again it sucks. not that i dont like Cheers or any thing. and i always have my vidio tapes of FOL. but for the most part i agree with you. about how N@N might be airing cheers because you have to watch every epesode to know what is going on. well i dont want to start any problems here so i am going to go

I think the whole 2-in-a-row-of-your-favorite-show thing is a ripoff. Because if it's not your favorite show, you get screwed.
I barely watch NAN since Facts went off. I will watch the Jeffersons or All in the Family once or twice a month. I used to watch nightly, though, when FOL was on the air.
Personally I think they should split the 9 pm hour between Family Ties and FOL. The shows (and the characters of Alex and Blair) are the perfect counterparts to each other. But do we really need 2 episodes of family ties? cheers?
I think they need to team up more shows. Like 11 pm could be Norman Lear hour with All in the Family/Jeffersons, which I like very much.
And WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH DIFFERENT STROKES? It's been on for a whole year now, and they STILL have not gotten into the Sam years. And I know the Sam years are shark-jumpingly bad, but still I'd like another look. For the first few months, they just kept running the first/second season episodes over and over again. Some of those episodes I saw three to four times in a month. Then every time they were actually starting to move forward, a marathon would come along and make it go back to start. It was like being almost at the end in the Candy Land game and then drawing that #&$^# candy heart card!!!!! I wonder if it'll get any farther now that its running two episodes a night. But why is it on so late?
I've given up.
