I was wondering why Rachel left the show and left Richie with Carl and Harriette??? I know there at the last she came back occasionally,but it was never explained why Rachel left in the first place. After all,she was Richie's mother. Yet in nearly episode Richie doesn't ask about his mother or anything.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

In the last season when she is supposed to come home for Christmas, she lived in Detroit. She was unable to make it due to a blizzard, but Eddie went and picked her up on Christmas Eve Night. :)

Why did Richie leave the last season for? They kept TJ but Richie seemed to vanish the last season.
