I watched this episode last night from one of my tapes and I must say it was pretty revolting- the way some spiteful old witch just cast a spell on poor innocent Samantha when she only tried to do a good deed by releasing the man from the painting.
I mean its one thing when Endora casts one of her spells on Darrin, but to have some foreign witch take advantage of Sam? That's not right.
It would've been nice to see Samantha get revenge on Malvina for doing that to her, or at least have Sam defend herself! If Darrin wasn't able to help save her, then what would've happened to her? Would she have been left there, back in time with no memory, no powers, and no way of getting back to the future- to her husband and two children?
The only thing I liked about this episode was seeing Darrin and Endora trying to work together, not something that happens everyday!

Yeah but what was really surprising was to see Darrin and Endora hug in the episode where Tabatha is born. :)

It would have been more interesting to see Maurice get even with Malvina more so than Endora or Sam! :)

The only interesting thing about that episode was Liz singing Poor Maiden Song. Liz have a lovely voice and it was good to see it being displayed.

The tragic thing about that episode was that Liz really did not want to be there and she had a pissed off look that entire season. Her energy was not quite the same playing Samantha.

I saw the episode a while ago and now it is my all-time favorite episode!

But her hair had not changed styles yet, isn't this the 7th season? It's one of my favorite episodes because, Darrin and Endora put aside their differences to rescue Sam.
