In a early episode "Art House" where Arthur moves out after a nasty fight with Doug; he gets his own apartment and Doug and Carrie go to his housewarming party. Doug comments later that Arthur knows how to throw a good party and never knew he could play the piano so well. However in a later episode several years later he offers to teach Deacon's son piano when he has know idea how to play it. It was really funny when he was teaching all the kids everything except how to play. So i guess Arthur can't play the piano!!

How many inconsistancies can we come up with?

Another is how Carrie and Doug met. There was a episode were they talked about a high school dance they both attended. So you would think they new each other from school There is was a episode that showed them meeting for the first time via Richie

Ever notice, how in one episode Arthur is so helpless he can`t take care of himself. In the next episode he is gone on vacation.

I don't know if anyone else ever thought of this, but in episode "Prints Charming" from last season, Arthur gets a cell phone and he gets no calls. However, this season in episode "American Idle", when Arthur helps Carrie with her cell phone covers, he keeps saying the name wrong as if he's never heard of them.

It's the episode that Doug and Carrie go to a wedding were Carrie slept with the groom long ago. Turns out that Kelly slept with the guy too. This tells you Kelly and Carrie knew each other before Doug meet Deacon. but then there is that episode that shows Doug and Carrie getting married and we see Deacon at their wedding but no Kelly.

I season 2, they had an episode where the sackskys sold doug a water filter & at the end of the episode doug went to their house at it looked like they had moved.

then in season 3 the sackskys build an above ground pool and annoy carrie?

In 2nd season episode "Net Prophets", Doug and Carrie buy stock in Shominy.com. Now, Shominy is something Doug says every so often if you notice, and he even made reference to it in the first season. Yet in this 2nd season episode, both Doug and Carrie seem to have never heard of it before. I guess it's not really major, just something I've noticed.

Yeah I noticed that, because he said he came up with a board game called "Shominy" while he was pretending to read.
