I am definitely closer to my mother. We do everything together, go to movies, go to sporting events, and more. One geeky kid in my class insulted me for not doing anything with my father, but my mother does the stuff a father would do.

my mommy's like my best friend...we talk, go shopping, her and i are really close, but then my dad and i are also so close and i'm his movie buddy and i love being a daddy's girl

He's very rude to me and favors my brother over me. He cares more about my brother, and does absolutely nothing with me and gives no effort to be close. My brother is closer to my mom than my dad, but he is closer to dad than I am.

:lol: Me too. I love my dad, but we just don't have many common interests. I do watch NASCAR with him though sometimes. He works rotating shifts, so I have always just spend more time with my mom. My mom also likes a lot of the shows that I like and my dad does not.

almost the exact same situation, except that I hate NASCAR

but then in my Second family (My Sister Mom) I'm closer to the "Mom" but then again she IS my Sister so I guess I would be

Right now I'm on the outs with both of them.

i dont think i've even seen my dad in the last 10 years, and i probably havent talked to him for at least 15....

My mom, because I can talk to her about anything. My dad doesn't understand anything about anxiety or fears and he doesn't want to hear me bitching about work anymore. :lol: But I'm pretty close to both.

My dad, I haven't seen or spoken to my mom in 10 years.

Since my dad was uninvolved, or played favoritism (showing up for all of my brother's soccer games, but not mine), I do everything with my friend and his father. They are much better than my father.

I am closest to my mother because she gave birth to me but I love
my father as well!

I'm not close to either, but I live with my mom so I guess her.

I am closer with my mom because she is around more than my dad and when he is around he yells at me alot. When he yells at me it is normally not my fualt. I still love my dad though.

My mom. We get into a lot of arguments, but I live with her, so I guess it's easier for me to be close with her, than with my Dad, that lives in another house. I see him a lot though, every other day or so, but it's just not the same.

Today, I am so ashamed. I yelled at my mother and she was disappointed. She has done so much, and I yelled at her for not letting me call a friend. As my friend said, which kid has never yelled back at their parents? lol
