Ok, I'm basing this all on memory as a young kid, so I don't have much to go on, but here's what I remember: It was short-lived sitcom, possibly a Canadian-only show, which focused on the family life of a single father who is a pro wrestler for a living.

or maybe Big Brother Jake? Though his character was a stuntman.

I think you're right. I just saw that title when I was flipping through a TV book the other night.

For some reason, I think it was early 90's not 80's, but I could be wrong.
