These boards are going downhill fast due to a lot of arguments on the threads. I will not mention the "ringleaders" as they know who they are. We need to prevent these fights. We used to be able to get along well and make friends, and some members are messing it up for us all.

I think OU812 has been banned, or at least suspended for awhile. He was trying to re-register back on the boards earlier today.

I can't make any friends on here or on Random Posts because I'm afraid of what people will say about me. I certainly can't go unto Yahoo Messenger because there is a truckload of people chatting on there and you can't get a word in edgewise there. And also people on here make fun of you and laugh at you when you have depression or have a disability. I agree and I think it's quite sad, that some people feel that they must ruin everything, for everyone else. However, it really says more about the troublemaker, than the one(s) being harassed.

From my experience on other message boards I've learned how to deal with "bashers"

Don't reply to their messages! They will go away!

The only way it works is for everyone to be together on it- replying to stupid posts only adds to the fire


Ignore them! Trust me- they will go away!

It's only one person causing all this.

That looks easy on paper but it is difficult. A lot of the time most people who read troublemaking posts feel the need to complain and respond to them. Like Nate. You probably have never heard of him, he made pointless topics that were less than thought-provoking. And these topics made like a lot of replies. I do admit I added to them (:o) but that because I felt like giving my opinion or else it would bother me if I didn't.

One day he went completely overboard and, in desperate need for a laugh, he registered a new name and porn spammed. I remember seeing reply after reply on each of his threads. TJ had to shut down the boards for 20 minutes because it became difficult to delete the threads with replies coming in. This happened last year.

He was banned permanently but came back under several names. From then on, it was decided by the powers that be that whenever he posts, it will be deleted and the replies to his posts will also be deleted (I remember when he said Laci Peterson's unborn son had a stupid name. I saw that post and a reply by someone but they were later deleted). People lost posts because they kept replying to his threads and posts.

My point is that not responding to trolls and their trash is easier said than done. Otherwise the boards would be exteremely peaceful.

This isn't a new thing. These boards have gone downhill since the summer of '02.

Yeah, really. He's started a few fights in the past few days but bashing him is getting really old. He's a human being being, he has feelings and even if you were joking, i could understand why it would piss him off after all the **** thats been going on. i know what it's like to be bashed by half the board and it's not fun at all.

Ah... I get a little melancholy toward the fact that I could have been here in 2002, but I stupidly let my registration sit idly and didn't post until 2003.

Actually, it isn't too big of a deal to me. Even if people consider the boards better then, I enjoy them enough now to not care TOO much. I do agree though... lots of bickering in recent times. However, it hasn't bothered me a huge deal because I have been lucky to never be in the center of it. Also, compared to every other board I've been to, this place looks like a dream. I won't even register at the boards that are on my town's website because of all the ****heads there. And no banning is being done--the place is an absolute wreck.

I think that if someone tries bashing us, we should ignore them and not respond back with anything that will make the fight last.

For the last time asscrack, i said it was a FIRST date and a DVD i had not seen before and I still went on the date but was just saying i wanted to postpone the date because watching a DVD for the first time of your favorite show was a ganrunteed good time and a FIRST date is not. First dates are sometimes arkward. So why the **** is that so hard for you to understand?
