Can someone please tell me what Rights
of Passage is about? It is the last
episode in Season 8.

I don't remember it perfectly, but that's the ep where Jo decides to leave and take a job in CA, where her boss and boyfriend, if I recall right, has asked her to go. At first she's scared to leave, but Blair talks to her and she decides to leave. It's very sad at the end when Jo leaves. She says a quick goodbye to everyone, but you can tell she's running out because she has tears in her eyes...very sad ep...

no no no..the rights of passage isthe eppy where jo and blair graduate from college and jo has this speach but the speach commitee won't let her make the speach and jo's grandpa comes from poland to see her talk but jo is replaced by blair in the speach...then when blair gives her speach,she reads jo's speach...it was a good 2 eppys

The rites of passage is the one you are refering to...... episode 180, it is the episode right before "the rights of passage" which is the one where Jo leaves.

very confusing I had to consult the episode guide for this one.

Episode: 180: Rites of Passage
May 02, 87~ It is now time for Jo and Blair to graduate from college, but Jo got turned down by the speech
committee, instead, Blair will be giving the graduation speech.

Episode: 181: Rights of Passage
May 09, 87 ~Summer offers a variety of options for everyone, especially Jo, who's offered a tempting job in Los Angeles.

i wanna see the second part soooooo bad!!!!my aunt taped it 4 me but the vcr srewed up and i got a basketball game instead! go figure.

The second part is awesome! Well, both parts are really. But in the second part Jo hugs Blair goodbye and that is the first time Jo actually hugs Blair without one of them being sarcastic about it or shoving away that I can remember---I actually cried http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif Blair and Jo hug each other in the first part of the episode too, but it was the second part that got to me http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif

On the left side of the screen should be a listing of the different sections, pic galleries, etc. and one should say, "Episode Guide." If your whole screen is the message board I would suggest you go to the homepage (www.sitcomsonline.com) then scroll down to FOL's page link and click on it, then you should see the side bar.
