My Daughter is co-writing a text book with her 'Professor' boy friend. It is about, or called, 'Social Justice Education'. I'm excited and proud of her. I can't wait to see the early drafts. She's smart, like me, lol, and is making good use of it.

Uh, lots of people come here to share their news, exciting moments, etc., hence the point of the Chit Chat board. If you don't like the post, don't read it. It's as easy as that.

I think TJ kicked OU812 off the boards for making that smart remark, as I can see him trying to re-register back in.

In any case, give my congrats to your daughter, Kitt. :) I wonder if that text book will be available at the university books stores up here too.

What's with the crappy attitude? If you couldn't say something nice, then just keep it to yourself.

That's fantastic! Tell her good luck - I've always wanted to write a book and I've never had the patience or guts to actually try it. Be sure and let us know when it's done! :)

Is she modest like me? Well, believe it or not, I am modest. In the long run I think my modesty has been a detriment to whatever accomishments I have or might have made. If my daughter puts aside modesty in order to plow through with her talents, then, more power to her! :) Modesty is only an illusion.;)

Congrats, Kitt! Your daughter sounds very talented and successful!

And to OU812, if I said "Who gives a sh*t" about one of your children, you'd be very upset! Think before you speak. I hope your kids don't take after you attitude wise.

OUwhatever is just jealous, he obviously is not smart enough to write a book about social justice and the education system (that is what the book is, isnt it?:p)

How come I never had the same support with the Habs last week, when I had their team logo? :(

She wrote me earlier today and said 'thanks' to those who I told her were backing her. She tossed in a couple of words for the one and only creep-poster on the board also. He, and the rest of you all, can imagine what those words were.

Jenya, you can pretty much count on the book making its way to Canada. 'International' education and communication is, afterall, what she is about.

Thanks to everyone who passed on their congrats to Eden, my daughter. It didn't sink in to me in the first few moments after she told me she'd be writing the book just what an accomplishment that will be. It was a watershed moment when I fully realized just how much accumulated knowlege and ability I've seen her gain over the years in order for her to consider this undertaking. All of that knowledge she has aquired through her ongoing efforts is, collectively, what makes her willing and capable of going after such a project. :)

Yep. They don't call Detroit "Hockey Town" for no reason. Rock on Red Wings! It's funny, I live in Texas and my parents will go to a Dallas Stars game with their Red Wings shirts on. I'm always afraid they won't make it back home. LOL. Sorry off topic again.
