Uhh, that is not spyware. A script error is just a problem with code. It's probably that "crazy browser" you're using.

when did it start happening? have you updated/changed anything?

try empty your temp files and it wouldn't be a bad idea to see if it does it in IE also

It started just a couple of hours ago, I was reading some threads here at SO and all of a sudden my browser froze. I didn't know what was going, that's when I started getting that script error :rolleyes:

I cleared out my temp. internet files, did everything I could think of :rolleyes:

You know, I just got that error...right after my computer gave me a virus warning. This site doesn't have a virus, I hope.

I used to get script errors when I would come to SO through the main boards page. It was like that for about a month, then it went away. I'm hoping it's the same thing with you, Topanga- that it's just nothing and goes away on its own.

I've gotten script errors, before and thought nothing of them, other than they were an inconvenience.

i always get that thing, i just click on yes and it goes away. my computer does not freeze up. it's annoying though.

I don't know what caused it, could it have been something in one of the threads I was reading?

I know it's not a virus, I did a virus scan twice last night
