Put it this way, I would rather watch the awful MWC spinoff Vinnie and Bobby than 5 minutes of an episode of Friends. Al rules!

LOL!!!!!!!!! I always liked Married with Children...I used to look like Kelly Bundy when I was in my early 20's..and Al was hilarious..I do not think I actually sat and watched an entire episode of Friends...I am not very fond of some of the actresses on that show...

I have never had an interest in Friends. I've never watched an episode of the show, and I doubt I ever will. And you know what? My life has not been ruined by my having not watched this show with these overpaid actors who make disgustingly huge amounts of money.

Married... With Children. Yep I liked it. Made fun of just about everything.

I like Married With Children over Friends.

I'll take Married with Children over Friends anyday. Al, Peg, Kelly, Bud, Marcy, and Steve/Jefferson beat the hell out of Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, Ross, Monica, and Chandler.

...and have no talent (aka David Schwimmer). How the hell did he ever become a star? I've seen chimps act better.

Friends is okay, but Married with Children is better, but these two shows really can't be compared.

Christina Applegate won an Emmy for her guest appearence on Friends last season as Rachel's sister.

apparently a MWC cast member liked Friends enough to appear on it, so apparently even Kelly Bundy is "evil"

I tried to sit through the Friends episode "The One With Rachel's Other Sister" (not sure if that's the one that got her the Emmy)...I changed the channel half-way through. It was just terrible. I don't why she got that Emmy.

I watched the end which showed that she plays a lot more ditzy than smart characters.I have to add that she is so hot

I don't really care for either show, but if I had to choose, I'd pick Married With Children. It had some funny moments. Friends just never interested me.

Funny show, not one of my favorites -- but its good.

Friends however -- blah. Its a good show -- but I dont like it.

MWC easily over Friends. I am sick of Ross and Rachel. Give me a freaking break. Another good show that not many people like I think is Scrubs. That is one show I can honestly say I laugh out loud to each episode. Any other Scrubs lovers?

YES!!! I love Scrubs! It's such a good show. Maybe now that Friends and Frasier are leaving, NBC will finally give it some of the attention and respect it deserves.

The series both have a very different style of comedy, which makes comparison tough. I guess I like Friends better because they are more like actual persons you could know or you could identify with, and also Friends always had storylines that lasted for e.g. half a season, which I liked very much.

When I read all the replies I thought: "My God, am I the only person on this planet who likes *both* MWC and Friends?" :eek: :D

I like very different types of sitcoms. I like the 'smart', more subtle humour in Frasier, I like the more sentimental storylines in Boy meets World, the old-fashioned style of Happy Days... and the quick, modern type of comedy in Friends and the more harsh type of comedy in Married with Children. :crazy:
