Fool of Archie Bunker. Mike Evans explained what his All in the Family character was doing when talking to Archie. Evans called it the BUBBLE which meant his eyes were laughing and the rest of his face was quiet. We all know that Lionel Jefferson was known for having the eyes that laughed at Archie behind an immobile face.

This was a funny thing Evans did. When he was putting Archie on and he was half smiling and looking at Archie's reactions :lol: .

That's how i got into the show.

Mike Evans ROCKED; he was too awesome for words when he played Lionel Jefferson; he knew how to down play Archie, which I thought was hilarious.
Mr. Evans was sure a highlight of All in the Family...

Hahaha, he was always messin' wit Archie's head, lol.
