If you have what was it like? Did you have more fun being at the taping than watching the show on TV? I've only been to tapings of daytime talk shows like Sally Jesse Raphael, Montel etc. After a couple of times it got boring. With sitcom tapings I would imagine that they have to keep stopping and starting to change sets, scenes etc so I guess it would be exciting the first couple times you go to a show, but boring after that unless they bring on some special guest star or there's some person doing standup routines between scene changes.

i heard that on the 8 simple rules set they have someone entertain during the "breaks" but I've never been to one myself.

I saw a live taping of Full House (twice); the first time was on October 22nd, 1992 and the second time was back in 1994. It was very exciting because at the time I was madly in love with John Stamos and getting the chance to see him live was such a thrill, and yes, ladies, he is even more handsome in real life:)

I can agree with that statement, saw him in person at a charity event, and he is just gorgeous.
