My favorite episode is "Out Of This World". When Greg plays a prank on Peter & Bobby,he gets grounded. This was my favorite
because the 'Martians' in this episode are the stand-ins for
Chris Knight,Eve Plumb,Mike Lookinland & Susan Olsen. I watched it this morning,and it was the best episode ever!

I loved the episode where Alice goes out of town and her military cousin takes over!!!! LOL LOL LOL!!!

I absolutely loved the episode where Bobby gets the wrong idea about Stepmother's and wants to run away. I was balling by the end of the episode.

I love the vacation ones....Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Cincinnati,...reminds me of my own family trips as a child.

"The Voice of Christmas", a warm sentimental episode which as the families first Christmas together. A wonderful episode.

I remember the episode where Peter works for Mr Martinelli's bike shop and gets dismissed from the job. I could say fired but I'll use a tamer word. I know how Peter felt. I have had jobs where the boss says "you're a nice girl but the job just didn't work out, We are going to let you go. I would feel so awful. LIke a failure. Peter took it better than I did. Tears would stream out my eyes.

Her Sister's Shadow: is brilliant on all counts for writing, and believable situations. (Yes, I conceed that the stock pile footage from "Vote For Brady" was used for the school auditorium scenes and that part is cheesy) But I love the story.

Bobby's Hero: Is also brilliant on all counts and ahead of it's time for the conflict presented. Mike Looklingland interaction with Burt Mustin (Mr. Collins) is VERY POWERFUL. It is very emotional when he comes into the master bedroom and tells his parents that he is "turning in his guns and doesn't want to see another gun again." I have always said they should have used a real gunshot sound in the dream sequence instead of the Jessie James actor saying "bang!" But it doesn't take away from so many great things about this episode. I don't know why I have it as a two. I consider this and Her Sister's Shadow to be the best Brady Bunches ever produced. "Bobby's Hero" is the kind of content that should be shown in schools to send messages to kids. Yes, it it that good!

The Dropout: Beacause of the great acting between Barry Williams and Robert Reed as Mike tries to console Greg, after his 12-0 shellacking. Tears emerge from Barry's face and you can see the hurt in his voice and Reed's sensitivity toward the situation.

Goodbye Alice, Hello: Very emotional and the only Brady Bunch episode that moved me to tears seeing it years ago.

Peter and the Wolf: A great episode because it actually has some more mature humor and wit to it. (I wonder if the restrauent used, WAS a real restrauent around the Paramount lot,) Because this was the same place that was also used in scenes for Happy Days, this Brady Bunch episode, and The Odd Couple. Someone told me this about this place being in Happy Days.

Juliet is the Sun: Maureen acts as arrogently as Joan Crawford here!!! LOL! She is great in this episode! Poor little geeky Harold Axelrod as Romeo is pretty funny! She really cries when Carol decides with the acting teacher Ms. Goodwin to drop her from the play because of her star-trippy attitude. Great all around.

My Sister Benedict Arnold: I love this because it shows real brother and sister conflict and brings others into the conflict in a realistic way. The chemistry works and the "Cheerleading Scene" (i.e F...F... F I ...L) is classic comedy with no slapstick.

The best of these episodes is the seriousness of the theme and the content of the storyline and charactors. Tam Spiva, was script editor on all of the above. He worked with Robert Reed to keep realism in the show and these episodes show that!

I don't know if it's my fav episode of all time, but I enjoy "The Show Must Go On?" for a few reasons. It was an entirely fun ep, where no one cried, no one got angry, and no one had to learn a lesson at the end. Also both the song from Gypsy performed by Florence and Maureen was well-done, and Mike's reading of the Longfellow poem was hilarious.

I have a few, but unfortunately I don't know them by title...

1) Alice's military cousin helps keep the gang in shape while Alice is away.

2) Peter thinks he's dull and doesn't have personality.

3) The family puts on a play "Snow White and the Seven Drarfs"

4) The Talent Show where Carol and Marcia do a duet!

5) Desi Arnaz Jr episode.


I have more but those are my top 5!

i think mine are the episodes where the gang sings... doe rei mi; the silver platters etc. other than those i love Cyrano de-Brady-- the stupider the better

Amusment park in Cincanatti episode.

Its gotta be the one where greg wants to date this girl but her cousin is visiting and and she has to spend time with her, so greg tells her no problem ill get a friend and we will double, his friends bow out because she is a blind date, so greg recruits peter as phil packer a swinging guy from another high school and what the girls do to greg when they find out what he did is so funny i wanted to cry top it off with mom and dad entertaining a client of mikes at the same place where greg and peter happen to be. This was a wonderfully funny ep, #1 on my list of brady episodes

My absolute favourite would have to be the episode where Greg buys a lemon for his first car.Thats hilarious.
A close second would be the final episode where Bobby sells Greg the hair dye that turns his hair orange just before graduation.I couldn't stop laughing-it looked like he was wearing a mop on his head :lol:

I Love that ep of gregs first car, That was the first time i ever heard the word caviet emptor if thats how to spell it, Translated buyer beware, and the hair brain scheem ep was the last of the brady ep,s it was allso the only one that robert reed was not in.

-- Both of Greg's disastrous dates with Rachel at the drive-in movie (with little brother Bobby and the box full of frogs... not that I have anything against Nora, but wouldn't it have been fun if Greg and Rachel had been married in all of the later Brady movies and series'?)

-- The Hawaii vacation (best Brady vacation ever, bar none!)

Which brings up some questions:

1) How did YOUR family escape when the old prospector locked YOU in the jail cell for trying to jump his claim?

2) After you were rescued from being tied up by the evil scientist in Hawaii, were your folks as nice to HIM as Mike and Carol were to the original Vincent Price, even though he kidnapped and tied up the boys?

3) What Indian name were YOU given at the Hopi dance in the Grand Canyon?

4) Was it hot wearing that bear suit at the amusement park? And what did your friends think of you after all you bought them was a Yogi Bear poster?

The questions could go on of course, but this ought to be a good start!

I watched the Popup version of the Davey Jones episode. Very enjoyable way to watch it.

My favorite is probably the whole Hawaii thing. Although the one with Bobby becoming overbearing at hall monitor has stuck in my mind for years. Also Peter with the mustach so he could go out with that hot chick. :D

Actually,

He was not in "Goodbye Alice Hello" either. He also refused to appear in the last part of "Welcome Aboard" (a.k.a Cousin Oliver moves in.) because of the slapstick nature of the pie-fight sequence when the family visits the movie studio.

I like "Cyrano de Brady", the ep in which Pete has a crush on Jan's friend from school, Kerry Hathaway.
