As you know, at the end of the episode "Wish You Were Here", she was sitting at the table with the gun, booze, and pills on the table. It continues at the table just the same. Magda knocked on the door, and there was no answer so she took out a spare key and went inside.

Magda-"Jin? Jinny? Why are the lights off? Are you okay?" ::Sees the gun, pills, and booze:: "What are you doing?" ::Takes bullets out of the gun, and gets pills off the table:: ::As she is doing this, Jinny talks::
Jinny-"I couldn't do it."
Magda-"Oh God."
Jinny-"Couldn't do it Mag."
Magda-"Jinny what's wrong?"
Jinny-"Seems kinda easy ya know? Half a bottle of vodka a couple pills. I didn't want it…"
Magda-"What stopped you?"
Jinny-"Casey called. He left a message. He said he was coming over. I didn't want him to find me, like I found my mom."
Magda-"God Jinny, I didn't..I didn't know it got this bad..I should have--I'm your best friend I should have realized something was wrong."
Jinny-"It's not your fault Mag it's not. None of this is.
Magda-"I thought you stopped drinking and--I thought you were going to your meetings."
Jinny-"I did stop drinking for a while. And then I couldn't sleep, oh God I couldn't sleep, so I--I got these pills. I got these sleeping pills--"
Magda-"What pills? What is this? Oxycontin Jinny?" ::Jack comes up to the doorway but Jinny and Magda don't see him and he overhears them:: "Oh God, Jinny!"
Jinny-"Few days ago I beat up a junky in an alley and I stole his stuff."
Magda-"Oh god Jin."
Jinny-"Mag, I need help."
Magda-"I'll help you."
Jack-"We both will." ::They both look back at him::

Magda-"This will not be a problem. But you need to let us help you. Do you want to go to a rehab?"
Jinny-"No, I don't want them to know that I screwed up again. I don't want anyone else to know about this."
Magda-"Well that is not going to happen as best as you would like. We are going to tell the Captain, and let her tell everyone else at her discretion. Is that ok with you? You don't really have a choice though. We know that you want help, and Jack and I are willing to do so, but you will let us tell the captain, because even if you don't and change your mind, you will get suspended from the Captain. And I'm sorry Jinny, that's just the way that it's going to be. Sorry."
Jinny-"Fine, if I don't have a choice anyway. Why don't you just call her over here right now. Spare me the drama later."

Magda-"Will do. I'll call her now." ::Calls the Captain:: "Hey Captain, what are you doing right now? I know it's late, but I need you to come to Jinny's apartment right now. Why? Um, maybe you should just rather find out when you get here. Yeah it's that bad. Ok see you then." ::Hangs up with Captain::
Jinny-"Let me guess she is worried about me, and is rushing over here right away!"
Magda-"She cares about you Jinny. We all do. You don't realize how many people care about you here. I do."
Jack-"So do I Jinny. More then I could ever say. I love you Jinny. I just need you to get better."
Jinny-"I just want to thank you two. You don't realize however many times that you mess up, your friends and your husband will always be there for you." ::Hugs Magda, and then hugs Jack:: "I love you both!"
Magda-"We love you too Jinny. But you need to get help. And that is why I called the Captain. She will help you too!"
Jinny-"Sure she will……she will start out by firing me!"

Jinny-I know.
Magda-Let us take you back to rehab.
::Jinny shakes her head no::
Magda-Ok, that's fine, I'll be right back. Ok?
::Jinny nods::
Magda-Ok. Jack, will you stay with her? I'll be right back. I have to go do something.
Jack-Sure Magda, I'll stay with her.
::Magda leaves to go call the Captain, thinking that maybe she can help Jinny::
Madga-Captain? Yeah it's Magda. Umm....what are you doing right now? I know it's late, and I'm sorry, but I think that you are going to want to get to Jinny's apartment right now.....I can't really explain, but you will understand once you get here....Yeah, it really is that bad. Ok, I'll wait outside for you. Jack is in with her right now. Bye.
::Magda hangs up the phone and looks up to see Jinny staring back at her. She doesn't know what to do, so she goes back into teh building and calls the Captain to let her know that she is to come up, because Jinny doesn't know that she is coming, but will find out when she gets there::
::Magda walks up to the door, and walks in::
Magda-Jack, may I talk to you for a minute?
Jack-Sure.
Magda-Jinny, we will be right back.
::Jack and Magda walk into a different room while Magda tells Jack that the Captain will be there soon, and not to let Jinny know until it's too late. When they go back into the room that Jinny was in, they found her on the floor::
Magda-Jinny? Jinny wake up! Come on Jinny! Please God, don't take her!
::Jack calls 911 and they are there seconds later::
EMT-What happened here?
Magda-She overdosed! Save her please.
EMT-We are taking her into the hospital right now.
Magda-Can I ride with you?
EMT-Are you family?
Magda-No, I'm her best friend and partner. SFPD.
EMT-Ok, come on.....hurry....it might already be too late.

::The ambulance rushes to the hospital afraid that it's too late to save Jinny's life. They get there, rush her into the emergancy room, and try their best to save her life::
Doctor-What happened here?
EMT-She overdosed.
Doctor-On what?
Magda-Oxycontin.
Doctor-Isn't that heroin?
Magda-Yeah, it is. She downed that with a bottle of Vodka.
Doctor-Why? Didn't she know that Vodka mixed with any other kind of drug could kill her?
Magda-Yeah, that's waht she was counting on. She was going to shot herself dead.
Doctor-Oh ok. Suicide attempt right here.
Nurse-Ok, I'll get the theropist.
Magda-NO! She can't know that I told you. I promised I wouldn't tell anyone. You can't do anything. We are helping her. Just save her life.
Doctor-She's crashing. I need the paddles. Charged at 500. Clear!
::As they try to bring her back, Magda is falling apart::
Magda-God, don't take her. Not now! We can save her! I know we can!
::As she is praying to God, she keeps on crying hysterically::
Doctor-She's gone....Call it.........
Magda-No, there's got to be some mistake.....
Nurse-Doctor, she's back.....pulse is coming fast.
Doctor-She is still out cold however.
Magda-Will she be alright?
Doctor-I think so, but we are going to have to keep her overnight for a couple of days. Just for observation and especially until she is awake.
::8 hours later - in room 56B and it was about 8 hours since they brought her in until she woke up::
Jinny-Hey Mag.
Magda-Jinny, your ok. I was sooo worried about you. Do you know what happens to people when you worry about your best friend like that?
Jinny-I'm sorry to worry you. I didn't mean it. It was from what I did. I couldn't go through with it....I did almost die. I saw my mom. She told me that I couldn't leave my best friend and my brother like that. She told me I had to come back.
Magda-I'm glad you did.
Jinny-There is so much that I wanted to ask her. But I didn't have enough time to. I loved her, but I don't think that I want to join her EVER!
Magda-Don't say that. You still love her. Because you are a loving person.
::Jinny passes out::
Magda-Here we go again!
::It was about 3 hours later when Jinny came back to it again. She was a little disoriented::
Jinny-Where am I?
Magda-You're in the hospital Jinny. Are you feeling ok?
Jinny-I don't know. Who are you?

Magda-What are you talking about Jinny? It's me, Magda.
Jinny-Who?
Magda-Your best friend and your partner. You seriously don't recognize me?
Jinny-No, I don't know who you are.
::Magda walks out and gets the doctor to look at Jinny, thinking that something has to be wrong with her::
Doctor-Jinny, do you know where you are?
Jinny-Umm…..no.
Doctor-What's the last thing that you remember?
Jinny-I remember meeting this guy named Jack, and I think we got married.
Magda-Yeah that's right. I was there. I was your witness. Do you remember?
Jinny-I remember the wedding, but I don't remember you. You don't seem familiar at all. I don't recognize you from anywhere.
Magda-Doctor, can I talk to you outside.
Doctor-Sure.
::They go out in the hallway so that Magda can talk to the Doctor and fill Jack in on what's going on::
Doctor-I don't know what this is. I've never seen this before.
Magda-Will her memory ever come back?
Doctor-I don't know. It might be a while. It could be an hour, it could be a day, a month, a year. It all depends on her.
Magda-Ok thanks. I'll fill Jack in.
Doctor-Ok, if you have any questions, just ask.
Magda-Thanks doctor.
::The doctor leaves and Magda goes to try to find Jack. When she does, he is in a room all by himself crying hysterically. Magda went over to talk to him::
Magda-Jack?
Jack-Mag, how is she? When you didn't come out right away I thought the worst. How is she doing?
Magda-She almost died. But they saved her. Well, actually she tells me that her mother send her back. I don't know. I was a little confused. I think that we need to talk before you go see her.
Jack-Why? What happened?
Magda-She doesn't remember me. She doesn't remember anything since your wedding. So she also doesn't know about almost killing herself.
Jack-OMG. Mag, the Captain is waiting out in the waiting room to hear about her. Maybe I should go….
Magda-No, you go see Jinny. I'll talk to the Captain and I'll fill her in. Jinny needs you.
::Jack goes into Jinny's room to see how she is doing, while Mag goes to talk to the Captain::
Magda-Captain, how did you know to come to the hospital?
Captain-Jack called me. He said that you two went to talk, and then came back into the room and Jinny was on the floor? What happened?
Magda-I don't want you to overreact. I told her that you would know. Jinny has been taking Oxycontin. And she downed that with a bottle of Vodka. She was going to shoot herself in the mouth. I think that it's because of everything that has happened.
Captain-OMG, I didn't know. How is she doing? Is she better?
Magda-I don't know. She doesn't recognize me, and she only knows Jack. The last thing that she remembers is the wedding between her and Jack.
Captain-OMG. She doesn't know about John Jr.?
Magda-No, OMG, I never thought about that!
Captain-We got to call her dad and Casey and tell them. We also need to tell her about John Jr. She needs to know.
Magda-How are we going to tell her?
Captain-I don't know. We will have to find a way.
Magda-And pray that she doesn't try to kill herself again.
Captain-Yeah. I just don't know how.
Magda-You'll find a way. You always do. You're the Captain!
