NewsRadio - I saw the first episode when it originally aired back in 1995. I was a fan from that episode on.

Andy Richter Controls the Universe - Great from the first episode to the last episode. Unfortunately, not enough people agree with me, so FOX cancelled the show after only 14 episodes.

Quite the opposite with "Friends." When I first saw that show, back in 1994, I was sure it would fail. I guess I was wrong:blush:

You alone have convinced me to buy "Newsradio - Seasons 1&2" when they are released.
Well that and the fact that I think both Phil Hartman and Andy Dick are HILARIOUS.
Ive never even seen this show, but going by your taste -- I know I wont be disappointed.

I'm honored. And it seems like a show you'd like. Plus, a few episodes from seasons 1 & 2 were directed by James Burrows. And Bebe Newuirth guest stars in a season 2 episode. As did John Ritter.

NewsRadio got me to watch "Cheers" for the first time. Dave Nelson (played by Dave Foley) explained to Lisa (Maura Tierney) how studying for the SATs made him miss a semester of "Cheers." This show is also the reason I bought "Green Acres: Season One." Dave's favorite show is Green Acres.

I've also decided to buy the first season of "Frasier." I've only seen one episode of that show (the 200th) but I plan on giving the show a chance.

About "Frasier".... definately give it a chance. Before I really gave it the time of day, I thought it was boring. But if you're any sort of fan of SMART comedy you'll love it.

"Friends."

Yeah, I've been watching it in reruns. I saw it a few times when it was originally on but now I'm really getting into it. Tonight they aired the episode "Balloon". Being that I've seen it a bunch of times, I didn't watch it but that's only because I had other things to do.

BTW, Stephen Root was on "Frasier" tonight. Weird episode. Kind of funny but weird.
