I thought, "Alright! We've talked about Queen a little bit ago, now let's talk about Yes."--Whateva. So, SBTBprincess715 tell me about this concert coming up? Will Hilary be singing live? :) AKA 04-25-2004, 07:43 PM Man. I was hoping this was a thread about prog-rock gods Yes, but instead I have to read about a little girl. Talk about a letdown... The Beach Boys no longer exist. You'll be seeing a sad, awful old man who was once a member of The Beach Boys try and pretend his existence in the group mattered. He'll be joined by hack backing musicians. passionsfan79 04-25-2004, 10:10 PM whatever aint even gonna argue not worth my time AKA 04-25-2004, 10:13 PM Originally posted by fullhousefever whatever aint even gonna argue not worth my time Because I'm right. passionsfan79 04-25-2004, 10:15 PM no your just not worth my time. Brian Wilson - not part of the farce Carl Wilson - dead Dennis Wilson - dead Al Jardine - not part of the farce So who does that leave us with? Mike Love and Bruce Johnston? I hope you bring lots of tomatoes. AllIWantIsYourClutch 04-25-2004, 10:20 PM Originally posted by MaydayMalonesGirl I was supposed to see Yellowcard in NYC in a few days, but it was sold out. AKA 04-25-2004, 10:49 PM Originally posted by jpnoyes I wonder what Brian thinks of them. Brian's been decidedly non-confrontational in the last ten years or so. It doesn't seem like he speaks his mind very much, or he masks his true feelings to save those of others. I was taken aback when I first watched the Endless Harmony DVD, and Brian said that "Kokomo" (which he wasn't a part of) was "great." Surely he didn't mean that. My youngest (6) loves them so I'm taking him to his 1st concert. Next time Yes is here we'll be seeing them too. And one of my fave Yes tunes is Awaken off of Going for the One. Awesome keyboard work by Rick Wakeman and awesome Guitar work by Steve Howe. xOxMizzBrodyxOx 04-26-2004, 07:30 PM Hilary does sing live... Rush--In the music business 30+ years, highly, highly influential for alot of today's musicians, shows no sign of slowing down. I'd be curious what Hilary Duff will be doing in 30 years.
