Well, I voted for Professor/Ginger, though I like Gilligan/Mary Ann, too. And I've never really considered Skipper/Visiter.

I didn't have anything to say. I'm not really into romance stuff. Anything past hugging...bleah! Yes, I'm immature. I do like seeing Gilligan and Mary Ann doing stuff together because there IS something, but I like friendship much better. The others "together" just doesn't seem right. ;};)

Nah, You're not immature its just all in taste.

Professor and Mary Ann, all the way. I could see them growing old together.

Skipper and Ginger, too. She'd like the seemingly gruff burly type, but she knows that inside, the Skipper is a gentleman and would treat her with respect, unlike the wolves I'm sure chased after her in Hollyweird.

And Gilligan? He's, um... dunno, off by the lagoon looking for debris washed up since the last storm.

I'm gonna tackle a PMA story soon, after I get my little projects involving I Dream of Jeannie and/or Stargate SG-1 wrapped up.

Gonna do a WKRP (Johnny/Bailey) story too.

I agree with sg1niner about Gilligan... I don't see him paired with anyone on the island.

The Skipper and Ginger might make it work in a relationship, but I don't think Ginger would be ready to settle down for a very long time.

As far as the Professor and Mary Ann... I can SO see the two of them together! He would give her the support and confidence she needed to get her college education and then she would assist him in the lab... working on experiments with him part-time while raising their children.

After the kids are school age, I can see Mary Ann returning to school and getting her Masters or PhD in something like Botany/Horticulture.

Afterall, with Roy already a Professor at the local University, Mary Ann's tuition would be less than $100 a semester!

I am a big MAP fan! I have been ever since I showed up on the GI scene of fans about 7 years ago....wow has it been that long? But it's logiacal for them to get together....if you think about it! Who else does all the work around the island, Mary ann's not afraid to get her hands dirty and help out, but Ginger the movie star and the intellectual proffy??? I am sorry i just dont see it! But I think you have something there about Ginger and Skipper, I mean at first I was appalled, but then I sat and thought about it.... It doesn't seem so bad. Hey MAP shippers, we should soooo rebel against the system and start a string of MAP and GS ffs! It's time for us to take matters into our own hands! If we dont write the MAP's who else will?!?!?? But don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a good MAG, but my heart lies with Mary Berry and Proffy....and stay tooned for the ending of Fly Me to the Moon, it's got a few twists in it, and you'll be shocked.....!! -------Savannah

I'd say they all did some work, except Ginger and the Howells. Oh sure Ginger entertains but I'm talking about labor here. I'd say the Professor, Mary Ann, Gilligan, and Skipper do equal work. Then again sometimes Professor seems to do more seeing that he always has a brilliant idea. :cool:
