I think the show is the greatest thing that happened in Katey Sagal's career. When 8SR came along,she had a better role that suited her perfectly.I'm not saying that I don't like Married...with Children or her portrayal of Peg Bundy,but what I mean is that other shows after MWC,she didn't want to be stereotyped,so she took on more *quote quote* ''Motherly roles.''I hope 8SR lasts another 2 seasons,because after 8SR,Katey will never find another show like this. The writers are awesome,and as long as there is new storylines(which I'm sure they've got a lot of up their sleeves)the show will roll on! John would have wanted his cast to keep on doing what they do best,so I'm sure this show has a lot to keep on going.

She is great at being her characters

Great as Cate Hennessy but as Great as she is as Cate, she will never shake the image of her as Peg Bundy. It's the role I first remember her in, just like John will be forever known in his Pop Iconic role in Three's Company as Jack Tripper!!!! :D

of course that's what she began as...but she was also known as Jo Tucker on the short lived series 'Mary'...:happyface

She looks kind of like Peg Bundy there with the red hair!:lol:

I have to say Ms. Sagal looks really Great for a 50 year old! Has she had any work done to her face? My mom is about Ms. Sagal's age and also looks really Great for age too!:D

Actually she's 48. I dont think she's had any plastic surgery,but she has a younger look,like shes in her thirties.

Ms. Sagal was born in 1954, so she will be 50 this year and I agree that she does have a Cool look about her. I thought she did had plastic surgery because her nose looks sort of thinner than it did when she was in Married with Children. It might be because she's alot thinner now. I wouldn't go as far as to say that she still looks in her thirities, maybe early 40s.:D

well obviously not the hair,but the eyes and lips and the facial structure a little. But her son looks a bit more like her.
