LOL, sorry, I couldn't resist. Although that isn't the exact quote, it's still funny! Anyway, RIP, John Randolph. Mr. Television 04-25-2004, 12:05 AM I always liked him. He guest starred on a lot of tv shows. R.I.P.:( AKA 04-27-2004, 11:33 PM Originally posted by bubblegum I don't know why he died. Well, for starters, he was 88... Could be heart attack, old age, cancer, etc. Brent88 05-01-2004, 01:44 PM Originally posted by cjmg85 Jackie: "Dad passed away. Dad's not with us anymore. He died. He's dead. DAD IS DEAD! NO, DEAD! Here's the exact quote:  Jackie(on phone): Annie Barber, It's Jackie, JACKIE. I'm Fine, FINE! I have some bad news. Dad is not with us anymore. I said Dad has passed away. HE'S PASSED AWAY. DAD IS GONE! DAD'S DEAD! NO! DEAD! DEAD! HE'S FINE, HE SENDS HIS LOVE. Bye. I am not doing that again you can't make me. Cashodeen 05-02-2004, 03:51 AM I always liked John Randolph's role as Roseanne and Jackie's father. Too bad the show decided to make him some cheater and child abuser in season 4 and beyond. Notice how he never guested starred again after that personality change. AL: "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him--THINK"!! DAN: "You used to say that, AND YOU STOPPED SAYING THAT??" I don't know why but i think that is so funny, plus dan's facial expressions and comments because he can't get any sleep. anybody else think this is an underappreciated and overlooked hilarious episode or is it just me?? cjmg85 05-02-2004, 03:13 PM Dan: "He used to say 'You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him--THINK', and now he doesn't anymore.... I HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY SLEEP!" LOL!!! I also love the part where Al is talking about where he'd sleep and won't sleep. Al: "I'll tell you, I'd NEVER sleep in a communist country. I may visit one during the day, but I'd never sleep in one at night." lol! I don't know why I find that line so funny but I do. Me too! I love this episode as well. This kind of basic plot is why I like the earlier episodes far more than the later. Roseanne's dad should have stayed this way. They tried to do too much in the later years, and it hurt the show.
