SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) - Jeremy London, who plays an assistant reverend on the WB's ``7th Heaven,'' was arrested after motorists reported seeing him arguing with his girlfriend on the highway, officials said Friday.

London, 31, who was taken into custody April 6 for investigation of vandalism, marijuana possession and driving with a suspended license, faces a May 6 arraignment, prosecutor Susan Schroeder said. He was released on bail following his arrest.

Officers responding to calls from motorists on Interstate 5 determined London's license had been suspended for driving under the influence, Schroeder said. Officers allegedly found less than an ounce of marijuana in his possession. London also was suspected of vandalizing his girlfriend's phone, she added.

A telephone call Friday to London's agent was not immediately returned. A publicist for ``7th Heaven'' had no immediate comment.

London plays Chandler Hampton on the show. He has also appeared on Fox's ``Party of Five.''

Um, exuse me, but um who is Jemery London? I haven't seen any of the later seasons, so that's probably why I didn't see him on TV before.
But will he ever be on 7th Heaven again or not?

I remember hearing that name on 7th Heaven, but I forgot what he looked like. Did he play Lucy's boyfriend at first...or Mary's?

He works with the dad he's a minister too. He's in the pic on this page way in the back next to Roxanne

Oh, thanks. But I don't remember seeing him in very many episodes....that's probably because I never got to see the later seasons.

Ahh, that's too bad. I figured that he was a pretty good guy. They sure were able to transform him for the show, if he's doing that type of stuff on the side.:lol: Maybe he'll be able to go to rehab, and come back next season.

I hope they don't fire him. They might not want that type of person being on that show since it's a family oriented show. Maybe if they do his twin brother Jason could take over the roll.

So we have a Bob Saget of this generation lol. I don't like Chandler anyway, and I could care less if he came back. I know that is awful to say, and I want him to get help, but I don't like all the new characters. Especially Roxanne.

That's a shame, but I guess he deserves being arrested for arguing and vandalizing his girlfriend's phone! There's no need for violence! I had a crush on him, but if he's like that in real life, then I just got turned off. :rolleyes:

No, although Kevin's real life brother has, or had, a recurring part on the show, as Ben... he was Mary's boyfriend for a while, and actually proposed to her in the airport as Mary waited to board a plane (she turned him down).

Ben is a fireman (as opposed to Kevin, who's a policeman).

Ben hasn't been on the show much this season, if at all.

Last night's episode "hinted" at Chandler possibly going to live with his new girlfriend in Penn. So, I wonder, even if the actor who plays Chandler hadn't done something bad and gotten into trouble, and possibly not being allowed to come back to 7th Heaven, we may have not been seeing him next season anyway. It's hard to say, a lot of things were "left up in the air" at the end. I missed part 1 of the season finale, but I saw part II which was last night.


For those who missed part 1 of the finale, a couple of things might not be totally clear...

Where did Maria come from? Turns out she was an exchange student from Mexico, and the family she was supposed to stay with couldn't fullfill their commitment, so Ruthie volunteered (without asking Eric or Annie) to have Maria live with them for a year... she told the school that it was OK with Eric and Annie, and the school bought it...

Ruthie also thought that Maria liked Peter, and that Peter liked Maria, and so she was upset at Peter for a little while...but they all made up...

The girl that Chandler ended up making out with when his adopted son walked in the room was actually hired by Eric to tutor Chandler's son in math...she's apparently brilliant, academically. Has a full scholarship to that school in Pennsylvania...

And finally, Martin's friend told everyone (locker room talk) that Martin and Cecilia were "doing it" and Martin didn't exactly deny it, and when Cecilia found out, she wasn't happy...

Not that all this clears up anything, but be sure to catch the reruns this summer...then all will be made clear
