Okay I saw this on Inside Edition and heard it on the radio and now that I think about it, it makes sense.

Jennifer is from Chicago. Which is in Illinois. On Tuesday night, there were like 19 tornadoes that touched down in Illinois and around 15,000 people lost power. So they couldn't see the show or vote. That's tons of support for Jennifer lost right there. I'm not saying that's the entire reason why she is gone, but you have to admit that her hometown support wasn't entirely there...

It probably would have made a difference. And plus Ryan said that the vote was extremely close between her and Fantasia

That's really unfair to Jennifer.

I would have been SHOCKED if Fantasia left. I pick her to win the whole competition.

I don't watch AI, but I know all about this.

What is the deal?

I think that after Beyonce and Christina and co., that many Americans are starting to get tired of "look at me, I can stretch this note out for 30 syllables" types. You can be a good singer without spending 45 seconds to sing one 7 word phrase. If anything, Jennifer Hudson and the other 2 soul singers is the inevitable backlash about having "look, isn't Beyonce Knowles such a GREAT SINGER" shoved down our throats all the time.

I'm tired of soul singers being treated that they have the best voices because of how they like to stretch notes out. I think there are plenty of pop and country singers who i think are just as good, if not better, than most of these "great" soulful singers.

but I don't think Beyonce or Christina are THAT GREAT of vocalists, they just do the acrobatics, and I know quite a number of people who are turned off by the way someone like Beyonce stretches one note out for 8 syllables. Someone like Barbra Streisand has a better voice than they do, and she's never resorted to that. Hell, I hate Evanescence but even I'd say that Amy Lee has a hell of a voice, and she doesn't do the 28 syllables for a note either. Beyonce and Christina overdo it too much and it annoys people

Jennifer Hudson can sing

John Stevens cannot. Or at least he cannot sing on a professional level.

Teenage girls have a crush on John Stevens just like they had a crush on Jon Peter Lewis.

Teenage girls will vote for John Stevens regardless of what he sings like.

Instead of voting just once like adults, Teenage girls vote dozens if not hundreds of times for John Stevens.

Teenage girls do not have a crush on Jennifer Hudson, LaToya London or Fantasia, so teenage girls will not vote for them.

That is why Jennifer Hudson didn't make the cut.

A singer needs range and power to be considered a true singer. Britney Spears .. her range is nowhere near Christina Aguileras range, which is why Christina is known as a better singer than Britney.

Diana has just as a good as voice.

Jennifer will be fine. She will get a record deal shortly. If William Hung can get his own album, then you know definitely Jennifer will. Has anyone seen last year's season 2 third finalist Kimberly Locke's video? Very good.

Those statements are kind of general.... okay, I'm a teenage girl. I have no crushes WHATSOEVER on John Stevens or JPL. In my AIM profile, it reads, "Never vote for John Stevens." And I may not have a crush on Jennifer or Fantasia (LaToya is borderline), I do have a crush on Amy Adams and voted for her hundreds of times.

So it's not everyone. Just most.
