Hello - I was wondering, what political party was Lucille Ball in?

She registered Communist to appease her grandfather in the 30s, but never actually voted that way. Later during the ILL years, it came back to haunt her when the fact that she had registered that way came out into the open. Because of the political climate at that time, she risked losing her career because of it. However, she was pretty much cleared.

During that time, Desi said that he and Lucy had both voted for Eisenhower during the last election, who was a republican. But she was so shaken up by the whole "red scare" that she never voted again after that. She refused to. So I guess you'd say that she really didn't have any party affiliation from the mid-50s on. Who could blame her?
