For the Canadians in the room. I received an email confirmation from a Columbia House Canada rep that they are NOT offering Facts of Life at this time (even though CH USA is).
This is the worst news, especially since it was our only hope for seeing FOL again. There are no Canadian stations that air it.
The misery continues...

Figures Lynda-Jane, when has any company in Canada gotten hip and offer us Canadians the same products that are offered in the USA.

Are you able to order them from the USA and ship them there? I know that would be expensive with the exchange rate and all, but it would be worth a go.

That sucks, I'm going to school in Canada next year and was looking forward to ordering them. 86 that idea unless they change.

I am thrilled about the Toronto shoot, yes. BUT, trying to find the specific locations is impossible until after the fact. I emailed radio stations, the mayor of TO, and even called Touchstone directly. Nothing.

Sadly, you must reside in the USA to order from Columbia House USA. You're right, will we EVER get hip? Be sure to email them and complain - they will take as a suggestion. Just go to columbiahouse.com and there's a link for Canada.

And yes, most Canadian TV is lousy. The only shows I'll watch are Popular Mechanics for Kids, Meg Ruffman's repair show, and occassionally Red Green.

Have you SEEN what they've been putting on the CBC? There's some good stuff on there . . . Made in Canada, Talking to Americans, Foreign Objects, P.R., anything on Opening Night . . .

Nancy Fan, I really meant that Canadian TV stations sucks. Canada has produced quite a few good TV shows. My personal favorite are Degrassi, Road To Avonlea, and Ready Or Not.

Talking To Americans is the funniest show. It's amazing how little people know.
