Has there ever been a "True Hollywood Story" done on The Jefferons ??
If so, I know I have never seen it, but then E! has been going down the toilet for the last few years with fewer and fewer good THS. Anyway, as this is one of my favorite shows I would love to see a THS done on it. Sadly many of the actors and actresses have passed away or have failing health as they are getting up in years and it would be a shame not to have their input on a THS.

No a THS was never done for the Jeffersons. And even if there was one, we wouldn;t find anything out about the show, just where the actors went to Highschool.

Solomon you might well be right about that one. Which actors from this show have died? Is Paul Benedict still around? I saw him on a Seinfeld episode form the late 90s. Mike Evans probably wouldn't want to participate and I think Damon got fired so he may not want to give any input either. I feel like I know enough already about Isabel, Sherman and Marla so in a sense it would be kind of superfluous to do a THS show.

Exactly, i want to know about the show itself. Like

Where did the George Jefferson Strut come from?

Why was that particular area of Manhattan choosen as the Jeffersons Neighborhood

Mike Evans reason for leaving

Why there was never a crossover with All in the Family.

I think it would be interesting to see E! do a story on them. Good Times had one why not?!

You can go to emmytvlegends.org and click on interviews and then click on the name of Isable Sandford and Marlia Gibbs and Sherman Hensley and you will find out all about them from their hometown, how they got into show business, the Jeffersons, life after the Jeffersons. Each interview is long but it really gives you alot of insite on each person if you really want to know about them and their life. But it doesn't tell you anything about their marriages. I thought they were really good.
