Hello - I was wondering abotu this for quite a while now, I saw thsi thing on TV where it was the Primetime Emmy Awards from 1975, and they showed a woman who looked just like Lucille Ball, and she couldn't read the ballot because she didn't have her reading glasses. I was wondering, do you know if this was Lucille Ball or someone else that was impersonating her?

I think it was her.. there is an incident behind that. Someone had told Lucy that Desi JR had a car accident and she was distraught by the news;everyone criticized her for flunking the lines but I would too if someone tells me that kind of news.. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong!

It was discovered that it was a prank call before she went on, but she was still a little shaken up and dropped all of the previous cards. I think Milton Berle came on stage with a glass of wine to imply Lucy had been drinking, as a joke.
