Has anyone heard and/or seen this movie? I had never heard about it until today in my sociology class. Apparently, it's a good movie, about a young guy who marriages an elderly lady. When did this movie come out?

I have that movie. It's a black comedy that came out in the early 70's. It's worth renting.

This is a great movie. I laugh every time I see it. If you haven't seen it you should.:wave:

They never marry, but the two of them do form a close bond. It's funny, touching, heartwarming - a movie that I highly recommend and one that may even leave you inspired by the time you've finished it.

I love this little cult classic. Some parts are hilarious. Ruth Gordon did a wonderful job. The Cat Stevens soundtrack is nice too.
