Which episodes made you bored out of your mind that you had to flip it to another channel? Mine would be"Lanford's Elite part 1" and "Some Enchanted Merger part 2"- those episodes where about when Roseanne met Edgar Wellman Jr- (the son of the man who fired her from Wellman's plastics) and fell in love with him. Those were just boring because John Goodman was not in it or any of the kids so that was just way boring.

The most boring episodes? Hmmm....

Pretty much most of seasons 1 and 2, and all of 8 and 9.

These are the only ones I think are below average. I'm sure there's one that I forgot about but this should be about it.

"Roseambo" - Just a bad idea. period.

"The Truth Be Told" - The episode where the networks are trying to make a life story on Roseanne and air it on TV. That was pretty boring except for just a few parts.

"Lanfrd's Elite/Some Enchanted Merger" - Edgar Wellman, Jr.? I could care less about him. It wasn't that great of an episode.

Ziggy episode!!! Not only is it extreamly boring, IMHO, he is so immature and not cool! He won't return to his family and to work just because he "has a bike to rebuild". Bikes are more important to him than his own kids. Idiot...

Also, there was a lot from season 9 that I found to be pretty boring as well. Too many to name, really. There were only a few episodes out of that whole season where I actually thought "now THERE'S the Roseanne that we all know and love!".

Most of Season 9, a couple from Season 8, quite a few from Season 1 and 2.

Ugh, the episodes I found boring were anything revolving around David/Mark/Darlene/Becky II...and this happened way too much in the latter seasons. Darlene was a highlight early on, as was Becky I but they were just so *dull* towards the later seasons. I'm terrible at remembering episode names, but the one involving Leon/Bev and their respective partners was dull too. Again, it's the same thing...episodes revolving around uninteresting characters.

Anything that had Kathy Bowman in it ( the net door neighbor in season 2 or 3 I believe). She was a stuck up snob and found those episodes boring since she complained most of the time.

I can't watch ones where they are out of character--Roseanne is having some dream and she's on trial (a season 2 episode I believe), the 50s sitcom episode, and the Gilligan episode. And basically all of season 9 are rubbish too.

Cashodeen,

I hate those ones too. The other boring episode I didn't like was the one where they went to Vegas.

I hate all of the dream episodes. I love seasons 1-8...9 wasn't very good.

-Any "dream" episodes
-Any Ziggy episodes
-About 75-80% of the Season 9 episodes
-I wouldn't go so far as to call Seasons 1-2 "boring" but the show hadn't quite found its groove yet, and was just beginning to "find" itself, so the episodes aren't necessarily "boring", but many of them aren't anything special either
-The later Halloween episodes
-Epsiodes where David and Mark are there but Darlene and/or Becky are strangely absent (In Seasons 8 & 9 there are a lot of episodes where Mark is there but Becky isn't, and it is never really explained where she is)

Season one was a little boring, I didn't like Dan and Jackie's relationship in season one, Dan seemed to really hate her, where as in latter seasons they hated each other like brother and sister in that silly way you do with your siblings.

I thought most of season 9 was boring, it isn't like I knew the ending at the time and could say oh I know why this is happening, now I can handle those eps (they're still not as fun to watch though).

Also I will warn everyone who doesn't like season one to buy the season 1 box set should it ever be released, especially after what happened with the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

I saw an episode from the eigth season recently, that almost put me to sleep. It was the one where David got a job at some amusement park, and everyone who worked their, acted like a bunch of brainwashed zombies. I can't really explain the episode, because I still don't know what the heck it was about, but it was probably the worst one Iv'e ever seen.

I also can't stand the dream sequence episode from the shows early years, where Roseanne was on trial for the attempted murders of her family. That one just moved way too slow for me, and seemed like it went on forever. I did think the scene where Roseanne enticed Dan to jump into a giant boiling pot of cream corn was pretty funny, but aside from that, the episode was pretty bad.

I don't like the ones where they explain about Dan's Mom. I guess I'm one of the few who likes the last season

The fantasy episodes like the "Gilligan's Island" and the 50s family parody were boring for me.
